I didnt study or prepare i just answered the questions as honestly as possible, gave thoughtful answers and was pretty genuine. I also type fast , i think its best to not put so much pressure on yourself and let yourself calmly think the scenarious through. I feel like its better to give honest answers from yout perspective. I got 4th quartile btw 😅 i was very surprised
I’m so lost now. 😂 your words inspired me. Thanks.
@@Ryann_KouHi , did you take the exam yet? How did you find it in terms of difficulty?
@@emmaodonahue5911 Hi. I will take the exam at December 8th. I'm an international applicant. We don't have this kind of exam in my country. So I don't know how am I going to be graded, and accourding to what standard. What if I get a lower grade for simply being myself and holding the belief that I think is fairly true. The questions are kinda out of specific context for me, making it harder to work out a practical solution. It feels like you're dealing with some man-made dilemma that you simply wouldn't encounter. It's unnatural and intangible. I don't know what's the point even though I read all the content in the CASPer website. I'm still navigating through it. My suggestion is just dont be as sensitive as I am. Prepare for the best. Don't over think too much.
I scored really poorly and I’m very upset I scored in the 1-24 percentage. I really thought i did better than I had. I believe with my age and life experience I would of been able to score higher I feel really down and disappointed
@@makeluck3659don’t feel bad. You made an effort, that’s what’s important. ❤
There are three types of questions:
1) Personal Questions - asks for a particular characteristic that you've displayed
- Introduces scenario
- shows how to resolve in a mature way
- lesson you learned
2) Ethical Questions - how you would handle the situation?
- remain open-minded
- explore different perspectives
3) Policy based Questions - what is the policy that is given and explain the pros and cons
- opinion/understanding on the policy
- argument from both sides
- pick one side later on
- why the policy is important
thank youuuu ❤❤❤
Thanks for the breakdown!
Thank you
Casper test are like politicians. Say a lot of words that don't actually do anything, so that the person asking the question forgets what the question was asked. These "answers" would never work out in the real world.
It’s just life man…gotta pass it as the entry to medical school no matter what
Took my first CASPer recently. In the very first video response I didn't scroll down far enough to see the ACTUAL QUESTION they were asking me, just the scenario (for example: "you are a coworker"). I just kept yapping nonstop about the perspectives of the characters involved, the issue, and possible solutions. I hope to god I accidentally answered their question somewhere in there 🤪
@@ForeverRancor did you get a good score?
@@critdaddysama4656 Considering all my screwups (and running out of time for a few of the written questions) actually yes! 😂 3rd quartile, so not perfect, but probably the best I could hope for considering the circumstances lol
@@ForeverRancor I’m really stressing out
I have taken this test 2 times and both times got 2nd quartile. I will try your work sheets now.
How do u retake the test? Did u need to wait 1 year?
@@Tobymate234yeah it has to wait for another year
Bro i am an international student comin to canada in september.. for pre-medicine and your videos amaze me from rn itself..imagine the situation after 4 years ( When u guys would be doctors)
I believe that the awarding of students who exemplify exceptional academic excellence is a good motivation and great thing for children to strive towards to achieve. I also believe that children who work incredibly hard and their achievements are not validated by being awarded an award may be discouraged. Therefore I believe that awards should be given out however the perspective in which they are achieved should be grounded in children as not being a testament to their hard work. And instead just a acalade.
I would invite this specific member of the team for a private casual chat in a non-confrontational and non-judgemental manner. I would ask about the wellbeing of my colleague out of genuine curiosity and concern. I would then state that I have noticed an unequal distribution of the work between parties of the project which has caused a decline in moral. I suggest methods to help this individual contribute more. I would thank my other team members for their contributions so far and inform them othat I have spoken with the member of the team whilst also maintain discretion if the content of the conversation
Thank you for creating such videos
AMAZING VIDEO. THANKS.
I got first quartile and I got interview also.
Why do you think you did poorly? And what program?
Can you please add a free sample of your bundles so we know what we will be purchasing?
alr copped the worksheets, thank you guys! i was worried abt how i was gonna study but now im chilling
Thank you so much for your support!
has it been helpful?
The worksheet plugs are insane lol
Lmfao all these 4th percentile vids with thumbnails of professionals. Meanwhile I just answered the questions honestly and thoughtfully, did one practice test, and scored 4th quartile. If a POS human like me can do this in sweats while working at McD’a, yall are more than capable.
Edit: Title is misleading. The exam doesn’t tell you you’re actually score. The 4th quartile is 75-100% and that’s all you get.
i was 90th percentile aamc PREview and had to take this for one med app. also a terrible dickhead here, glad im under no threat tomorrow
taking mine tonight with close to no prep...a couple of my PA schools I applied to required it without my knowledge :/ This makes me feel better lol..
I have a question, I saw that in one of your videos you had a patagonia zipup that had UofT's logo embroidered. I was wondering if there is a bulk order during the beginning of the school year for you to choose to buy it as a med student?
I GOT 4TH EZ PEAZY CAKE
any tips? :D
So I can either be completely dishonest, or I will never pass this "exam". Participation trophies are an insult to all involved. There, I said it. Someone who is not pulling their weight should be well aware that they are not. They should explain/give possile reasons, I am not their mom. I would do the extra work, and make sure I would never work with this person again. Friend asking for favors I cannot help with should understand when I say I cannot help and respect my boundaries. This "exam" is teaching people to be phonies.
There’s nothing to reason, this test is fkng stupid. After I took it, I was completely honest with admissions about it & was still accepted into my Anesthesia Assistant program. It’s just idk what moron thinks this test is suitable for anything other than toilet paper.
hi! I have a question, can I study medicine in Canada if I have a masters degree in biology or genetic science ?
You can study medicine if you have any degree, your chances are not necessarily the same depending on the degree though.
You can study medicine with any degree, but they don’t use your masters grades for your GPA. Also, you have to be either a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen to study medicine in Canada. At least that is how it is in the province I live in.
@@NurseEmelda incorrect, there are schools in Canada that accept international students, it’s just ridiculous expensive
I am a aspiring dental student in the US, can I use your cheat cheats from canada to prepare for the exam in the US?
Yes
