I heard the video answers aren’t graded and only the written portions are, is that true?

Hello! I really enjoyed watching your videos. I wanted to see how you would approach adding your personal experiences in the answers when they are just asking about what you would do in the situation that was provided?

Thank you! Given the time that you have, I would recommend sticking to just answering the question in as much detail as possible (ex. looking at more perspectives) instead of integrating a personal experience. Ultimately, the examiners are looking for answers that show open-mindedness and check off the character traits listed on their website. By adding a personal example, you would not necessarily be making your answer better in the eyes of the examiner because all it does is show you've gone through that situation before. That can be better achieved by answering the question in a mature and professional way. Hope this helps!

Hey Aubrey! We don’t have a video on this coming out soon, but we’ll provide you with some quick tips. First of all, make sure you have a set structure for each question and you stick to it during the test. Also, remember the 4 principles: beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and autonomy. You don’t have to name them but know what each one is. You also want to put in as many personal examples as possible so try to come up with a list of 5 you can use for any situation. There will be many times where they ask you to address multiple problems, but address the most pressing issue only because you only have 5 minutes. Next, you may want to read up on some current issues going on right now incase they ask you about it. To save time, write down an intro and conclusion you can repeat for any prompt. Lastly, each scenario is marked by a different marker so even if you mess one up it’s completely fine. The most important thing about this test is to stay calm and composed so just move on and crush the next one. Good luck and hope this helps!
