4 years my healing was more or less succesfull, now I am in difficult palliative phase, no medicines left. I respect life and it is really difficult to think about death. So, positive thinking helps.

Yes I know I've been on palliative pain meds for 3 years now , I'm hoping there are new medications yet unfound so don't give up my friend there is a lot of new exciting research now and it's being quicker by the use of AI. There is always hope🙏

Woody - you have done amazingly after where you have come from. I agree that this whole experience is not all negative and I have found that my life has been enriched by mine ( crazy as it may seem). My oncologist has never actually shown me any of my scans - I suspect that they may appear too gruesome, so I am happy not to see them. Great to hear that the radio is getting better, and it’s all about attitude. We have to grab hold of life and wring as much out of it as possible when you are on this.

Absolutely, life is so much more precious when it's being threatened to be taken away. I've always felt life the days after I was diagnosed my eyes really opened properly for the first time.🙏❤️

Hiya woody it’s me who had a PSA of 4000 coming up to 2 years in October had a double whammy got diagnosed with a cancerous mole which has been cut out of my back in February.
My PSA stands at 0.339 now after going on a full health kick and turned it around.
What you got to remember is we all got to die someday so live it while you can.
    Good luck in your treatment

If you can get away for a night or two, it really helps keep things positive. Just started doing this in July, and just had our third mini vacation. I find it takes you out of your head. Planning, maps where to stay etc. We are having summer weather still in Canada, and had a swim up north when away 🙂 Cancer was a million miles away.

Cheers from Connecticut where the leaves are just beginning to turn. I don’t have cancer but this is one of my favorite channels. You have the right perspective on life. I’ve had insulin-dependent diabetes for nearly 50 years, so I focus on my health above all else and like you, I never complain about the weather. I appreciate it all. I hope you get to enjoy many more seasons, Woody.

Hello mate. Thanks for sharing your experience with radiation treatment to date. I have CT simulation next week followed by 28 radiation sessions, 5 days a week for 6 weeks beginning of October. Useful thoughts and info, cheers.

Hi woody I’ve been following your cancer journey,I too have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer since august 2022,My PSA have been rising over last couple months,it is now 1.27 My oncologist said if it continues to rise they will intervene and discuss next step,I think I’m now hormone therapy resistant so they will probably suggest treatment,Good luck to you hope your radiation treatment slows down the dreaded disease 🤞🙏

    Hi Woody
great to see you still positive after 3 years. You mentioned your bone scan result at start of your video, was this a conventional bone scan or a PSMA pet ct and have you had PSMA since?
I'm just starting out on my journey and wondering if anyone else on this platform has had PSMA scan as part of there initial staging in UK.
Good luck mate with rest of treatment🤞💪🍺

Hi, the PET scan was the first one I've had due to my rising PSA level. all the other scans have been regular bone CT and MRI scans every 6 months or so. I'm not sure if I've ever had a PSMA scan.
Good luck on your own journey it's not as tough as you may think it's going to be right now.🙏

Woody…I don’t believe cancer has created a new appreciation for life for you. cancer can accentuate what god has already given you.
