Bane truly spoke the truth. Hope is the worst pain ever and the biggest disappointment one can experience when reality hits you. But going through such is an invaluable experience forging your way forward with might.

Aye you're welcome, When I was editing I too got a deeper meaning to it the first I haven't understood. The point about how hope greats despair in our heart kinda blew my mind because it was the first time such Idea came to my mind.

When I was lil, I wasn't sure as much of his speech but it hit different back den without no meaning...now I understand.
When he says " There can be no true despair without hope " made me think about hope in a way I couldn't imagine. When I look deeper to many " vilans " such as bane I feel like they are not so " vilan " after all...

There can be no true despair without hope. The secret to never despair is here. When you look at that light in the sky. Don't hope you will make it out. Know that you will make it out. Don't fantasize. Plan your way out and execute. Despair is hope without actions. It's like a cry in the ocean from a sinking ship desperate to save itself. It knows it could be saved but it doesn't know how. This is despair. When reality comes crashing down and smashes the dream. You lose hope and give in. If you never want to despair then execute the dream! Whatever it is take a step. Because a step is closer to reality than a fantasy. That is hope. Seeing the vision and making it reality. Despair is fantasizing without the action.

Your fine speech is for another line of motivation. It has nothing to do with this. His plan was to feed them hope and smash that hope so they could feel real dispair. It hurts more when you had high hopes for something and it crumbles.

Despair is the reason we welcome negative things with open arms whether is death, sorrows or even mentally miserable
If you think about villains you realize they could of been the hero but unlike like most heroes they had no one they realized that no one cares about them or anyone else you will come to realize that humanity only cares about its self and the people that are certainly alive like villains are really the good guys just they went down a different road because no cared to help them
There can’t be heroes without villains! It’s a cycle. Some are destined for greatness and others for misery!

People say Bane's voice is ridiculous in this movie, and no doubt it is, but it's also really soothing to listen to when he's speaking softly like this.

You know, as humans we believe there is no fate worse than death. We believe death is the end, and that it leads to despair. Despair, coming from the fear of being forgotten. But really, hope is simply an illusion. Everything ends, and we always find some excuse to continue onto the next day, no matter how much we suffer. Bane wasn't a villain, he was simply a man, a man who learned to live without hope, but also without despair. Bane was a free man. And while cowards suffer from despair, or fight with false hope, only a man who has neither of those can truly call himself free, for to be free means to be alive. To be alive means to take risks, to suffer, and to be rewarded. In the end, Bane wasn't wrong. Humans can survive physical torture, because they have a false shred of hope. But psychological torture? That targets the hope directly, ripping the target from their comfort. In a way, it frees the victim. Bane may have seemed like a villain, but he was a man trying to free Gotham. Or at least, that's what I take from this. I could be wrong, or right. Who's to say?

As children we aspire to be heros. As adults we live the lives of villians until we suffer enough to become the hero. But, only if we dont break from the sufferage.
The thing i like about bane is how nasty his voice is, usually villains have pretty boy or stoic voices TDK bane got injured and his voice reflects that 10/10
