Leo is adorable ❤️ I had 2 kids in the last 4 years. After the first one I couldn’t loose weight at all and after the second one it just started dropping after he finished 9 months and I didn’t try. I breasted both for a year. We have a ninja as well but the 15 in 1 - love it!

I always liken Yoshi to Olaf from frozen! Snowman that likes the sun haha. Yoshi overheats SO easily but loves cuddles so much and gets as close to you as humanly possible 😂 And totally overheats so just sits there panting the whole time 🤦🏻♀️🥰😂

Loved the insight into your routine, my daughter is almost 5 months old now so I can relate 😂. We brought our cross-trainer up from the basement and put it right in the middle of the living room so that we HAVE to use it.

It’s more set targets than specific meal plans (which I like!). So I can eat anything as long as I hit my targets which are 140g protein, 170g carbs and 65g fat. Lots of flexibility and means if you want a treat, you can have it, you just need to plan around it 😊

Leo is lovely! I am also 5 months post partum with my second (a boy as well) and struggling to find the time and energy to exercise even lightly, sadly I look 5 months pregnant at this stage 😅
Oh I feel you. It's SO hard to fit in consistent workouts. To have both free time and enough energy align is such a rare thing these days! Leo's getting to the point though that at least I can tell myself that I'm getting in a daily arm workout haha

Congrats. Leo is adorable. Can you please share how you increased your milk supply? I am currently 8 weeks postpartum and still having trouble with getting my milk supply up.
Aw congratulations on your new baby! And yes - I have ALL the tips because I literally tried everything haha.
1. I pumped around the clock, every opportunity I had. It doesn’t have to be spaced out perfectly, it’s about the number of pumps you get in. You can also do this with baby latching but part of our problem was that Leo was an inefficient feeder and would fall asleep as the boob every time without eating much or emptying 🙈 So I had to rely on pumping to empty. It was a LOT but I had Dan and my mum on hand to help which was necessary because pumping all the time is definitely not convenient 🙈 I would aim to pump 10 times a day in the early days. It was hard because you feel like all you do is pump but I told myself it was only for a short time and I kept track of the amounts so the progress was motivating, no matter how small!
2. I got a correct flange size. I had to size way down and it made a big difference.
3. I pumped for longer than 25 mins. Initially I was told 15 to 20 mins was the sweet spot and it simply wasn’t true for me! I would get letdowns past 20 mins everytime. I would try for at 25 mins every time but the longer the better. In the morning, I would pump for 40 mins. I also power pumped but I think the longer sessions did more.
4. I ate oatmeal every morning (still do!), drank insane amounts of water and took fenugreek (I know controversial but I was desperate haha) and moringa supplements. I also took a complete prenatal (the Ovaterra one) and tried to eat a ton of healthy fats with a very generous calorie surplus.
5. Breast massage! Towards the end of my pump, I would do a solid massage each time to make sure I got all the milk out. Aim is to empty as completely as possible so every single drop helps!

I had the same issue as you. My baby girl would fall asleep every time she was on my boobs. She was gaining very little weight in the beginning so I had to pump and supplement with formula. I am exclusively pumping now and pump 8 times a day for about 25min. I tried taking supplements but nothing helped. I think I need to drink more liquid and eat more carbs. Thanks for the advice ❤

For me after 3 kids, it was easier to loose weight after I stopped breastfeeding
I've heard this from SO many people! I feel like it's one of those myths that breastfeeding makes you drop all the weight instantly haha
@@ChaseAmie breastfeeding makes you lose a lot of weight, but only if you're malnourishing yourself, which can be really dangerous for both mother and baby
