So happy for you! I saw my GI doc yesterday and they want to scope and biopsy my stomach, small intestine, and colon. I've also got cancer, and that doc says we'll start treatment in March. I've got a cycling event around that time and was thinking, "well, that's out now," but I get what you mean about pinning on the number. Trained or not, slow or fast, I'm now looking at how I can still make it happen. I may be dead freaking last, but if I can still do it, that'd be a victory I'll celebrate.
Yea!!! You are home!! Congratulations to you. I actually got chills watching you walk home and into your house! And, btw, count me as 1 of the people you have helped. And I thank you for that. Keep feeling better.
Reminds me of how I felt end of March 2003, when I was allowed to go home (and still had 5 months of treatments ahead of me). And my condition wasn’t chronic like yours - that stupid bacterium just tried to kill me one single time (and got so close they told my parents they would shut down life support on Tuesday if I didn’t improve until then). Good luck, coach. Good to see you back home. ❤
Great to hear, always a great feeling getting out of hospital that is. But well aware the battle is never over, keep it going and keep that skid lid sunny side up
FREEDOM! Welcome home Bravearse 😁 I'm a bit disappointed you didn't show them attaching the ankle tag, just make sure you behave yourself, don't want to see you sent back inside again! Very best wishes for phase 2 Scott you're definitely inspiring this old codger.
Pleased to see that you are home and can get back on the bike. I wish I could say the same my lumbar spinal stenosis is getting worse and I'm lucky if I can ride 5km I will take a leaf out of your book and stay positive until I have my operation in May hopefully
Great news, good for you, I'm so glad to hear, you know with these vids and your openness you have help countless people, thank you. Oh ya, I don't want to preach in any way but the green stuff that comes out of the ground is the way to go.
Glad that ordeal is over coach, thought you would give us a detailed run down of how the blockage cleared though you're walking a bit funny must've been like the first night in the jail lol
pleased for you coach - looks like you got good care there in the hospital. must be a nice feeling to be home with your family and being able to make choices about when to go to bed and what to have for dinner. welcome back
Excellent!!! You tossed it into the toilet and flushed it... Voila !!! Well done, I've had my share of hospital stays and know the feeling of being released. Good to see you clipping the wrist straps.
