this could easily be changed into a bunker too at the start spot with those 2 square foundations and remove the door make wall then add a half wall twig and upgraded floor for bunker :P
Serious question. Is there a reason you used the low half walls for honeycombing the ceiling instead of half walls? Love the design otherwise. Building it richtig now
I just used low walls to make the build cost cheaper, it has the exact same effect by preventing someone from rocketing down to hit multiple rooms at once. (:
@@RustyYT1only thing I don’t like about the low walls is the stability in the center. Hard to place windmills on the roof if you build higher up and add extra floors, so love the design I use it a lot
@@Inkreasetattoo I ran into this too. I'm thinking of building regular half walls where I think my I will be putting my windmills under. They low walls do provide the same effect and are 73% cheaper on TC upkeep. Pretty necessary to have pancake layer up top since I feel most raids are top down nowadays.
Was playing Runescape in the background while watching this video. The Runescape music began playing in your video and really confused the hell out of me.
really nice man, please try implementing a like quick tour next time, though I understand how that may be hard. Or you could also use a server where you can share your builds, great vid
Love the design, i am trying it now first time. And i think with at minimum of 16 rockets if they go straight to tc im safe to log off for wipe day. We are trio and for now its a bit small base, but it is to my liking. Gj!
I don’t understand how so many people are having trouble with the triangle in tc room this is a common build for almost every tc room. Place a half wall and triable on the other side of tc. And connect it through wall. Then destroy half wall and triangle. And the tc room triangle will stay.
All around solid base but just got onlined on a duo only server and they went through the peaks mind you this made it incredibly hard to defend but it is a hard base to raid but also mind I just had the base no turrents or compound it could definitely use a rework for peaks and more defendability
Need to remove the furnaces in core add another wall on top of the half wall between the furnace area instead of a door and keep the half wall twig and upgrade a triangle floor outside from the tc and now you have yourself a stability bunker also instead of where the large battery is and make a jump up remove the front peaks and add walls and build up + more honeycomb it'll be crazy
Also wouldn't put roofs on the sides instead I would put twig jump up so you can pancake honeycomb the sides then make a shell with more peaks and separate entrances 3 max
Why you put glass windows with the lockers and the battery? You can't access them after. And the battery is for turrets outside? If so were would you put them. We enjoy a lot your designs thank you so much!
Glass window just adds more protection so raiders have to go through it to get the locker / get into the base. You place it when you get off and when you get on just pick it up with a hammer. and the battery is just incase someone wants to add electricity for furnaces or lights or turrets. & thanks for watching! :)
Another question, at 5:45 you put a shelf in that section, for me it won’t let me place it. Is it because I have sleeping bags under it? I don’t want to destroy them only to still be unable to place the shelf.
I just built this base but with roof access. Its all metal with hq insides. I just gor off for the night so lets see if it makes it ovwrnight. We need to figure out how to make a bunkee in this and off tje top of the roof use roofs to help with raid defence. I also spammed doors everywhere lol
You mean the bunker? You set the bunker when you log off for the night, You keep it twig and upgrade the floor. And then when you get on the next day just wake up in your bag and destroy the twig
I’ve done it tons of times and it never gets shot out, and if it does you can just hit a tree with your rock a couple times and place it back pretty quick
Did you upgrade the stone ramps to metal like he showed? Also the floor between the two layers need to be metal. Reason being, the hit box of metal ramps/floors are smaller than stone.
So around the 5 min mark you do your upgrades, but outside of creative mode you can’t just demolish those previously built walls right? Basically stuck with the initial design unless you want to hack away at stone walls unless I’m missing something.
Yes, so when you pick a base for the wipe you should stick to it until next wipe. Breaking walls is a pain and you should upgrade the base for extra protection incase you get raided
@@RustyYT1 right, but in your video it looks like you knock down some walls and rearrange at that 5 min mark, which isn’t possible short of bashing the walls down unless I’m seeing it wrong (you’re far faster than I am).
@@DadGotGamez no worries lol, I’m trying to find the spot where it looks like I did that but most of the the entire base was already pretty open when I made the starter which is what I think your missing
I have a question. What happens if someone raids it and the first thing that they break is the roof? This way if i am going to the base mid raid or if potentially the player backs up, I won't be able to climb to the door entrance on top.
@@keepcalmandtrashtill8158 good question, but since there is that pancake layer to prevent someone from going straight down, there’s a very low chance of anyone blasting in through the top, they would likely target one of the sides of the base
And to counter that, the loot rooms provide another layer of honeycomb because of the ramps I used so that’s what makes this base so strong. Hope that helps!
The base changes 3 xs with hard to see indicators of change of the configurationn of the main vs starter. The exhilaration through the video to keep it simple ends up making it more confusing. I do appreciate the vid tho. Sometimes smooth is fast and fast is slow

I really like how this base takes progression into account and doesnt expect me to have full hqm and garage doors at the start.
Just build a 2x2 expansion base?
My only suggestion is to use ramps in the pancake layer for added top down protection. Ive had people give up once they saw the ramps before. lol
Man bro I’ve been building this base in solo and I love it , my favorite base design till now it looks dope
you could turn this into a bunker base as well pretty easily. If you just get rid of the half wall below the door and place a wall you got a bunker
The Rs music is a vibe

this is a really nice bunker just wish there was a place for mixing table
