- Treasurer Jim Chalmers and his Victorian Counterpart Tim Pallas are “completely at odds with each other” over the Suburban Rail Loop, Victoria Shadow Sport and Events Minister Sam Groth explains.
“You have got Tim Pallas down here in Victoria saying they have got a business case that stacks up," Mr Groth told Sky News host Steve Price.
“And you have got Jim Chalmers up there as part of the Albanese federal government issuing no funds for the continuation of the Suburban Rail Loop.
One has destroyed Victoria over ten years, the other, a Gomer Pyle lookalike,
has rooted the country in two.
OMG Gomer Pyle lookalike you have me in stitches brilliant😂
Victoria’s finances is a state government own goal basket case.
Victoria just got the majority of Australia GST? I dont think the rest if Australia can afford Victoria irresponsible spending!
I'm not impressed. It's easy to stand up and say no to an idiotic train that goes nowhere. But was Jimbo or any of his Labor mates standing up to Diwrecktor Dan when he had his goons shoot innocent people in the back?
Chairman Dan 2.0 (AKA Jactinta Allen) is simply ensuring that Victorians can't escape the legacy of the despot who was her predecessor. How $200b can be committed to a project that has no business case is absolutely criminal.
The rail loop is the biggest joke in Victoria that has ever been seen. Labor simply do not care about what they are wasting our money on. Jac Allan is no better than her predecessor, Dan Andrews, if anything she is actually worse, which I never though was possible.
The clowns arguing about how to run the circus. Bwahaha. 🤣
If the Labor government were in the Private Sector THE WHOLE LOT WOULD OF BEEN SACK YEARS AGO!!
Sam Groth for premier...cannot believe any numbers labor put forward.

At least the federal budget didn't include SRL funding - glad that's not on the agenda. Now the Vic Gov just needs to can it.
What be this Surreal Loop 😕
How is Pallas still the treasurer of the now broke state of Victoria?
