Although. Very inaccurate. Since combine soldiers. Metrocops. Rebels. Didn't really exist during the war. Or hunter choppers. Or any other being and creature used. Of course we can agree that. Rebels could be used as militia. Or conscripts that assisted during the war. But still thank you for taking the time for making this! Must've been a bitch to make.
Captain Price had seen his fair share of battles, but nothing could prepare him for the harsh and desolate world of Half-Life. Ever since the Combine had taken over the planet, humanity had been forced to live under their oppressive rule. But Price was not one to give up without a fight. He had joined forces with the rebels, a ragtag group of fighters who were determined to take back their world from the Combine. As their leader, Price had quickly gained the respect and admiration of his troops. They saw his bravery and his unshakable determination, and they knew that they had a chance to win the war against the Combine with him on their side. Price quickly realized that the rebels were greatly outnumbered and outgunned by the Combine. But he also knew that they had one advantage: their knowledge of the terrain. They knew the ins and outs of every city and every alleyway, and they used that knowledge to their advantage. They launched a series of guerrilla attacks on the Combine, striking quickly and then disappearing back into the shadows. Price led his troops from the front, always at the head of the charge, inspiring his troops to fight harder and never give up. As the war raged on, Price and his rebels began to gain ground against the Combine. They liberated cities and towns, freeing the people from the Combine's grip. With each victory, their numbers grew, and the rebels became a force to be reckoned with. But the Combine was not going to give up without a fight. They launched a massive assault on the rebels, determined to crush their resistance once and for all. Price knew that this was the moment he had been preparing for. He rallied his troops and led them into battle, charging headlong into the Combine's forces. The fighting was intense, and Price could feel his heart pounding in his chest. But he never wavered, never gave up. In the end, the rebels emerged victorious. The Combine was defeated, and humanity was free once again. Price looked out over the battlefield, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment that he had never felt before. He had led his troops to victory, and he had done it with honor and bravery. As he walked away from the battlefield, Price knew that there would always be another fight to be fought. But he also knew that he was ready, and that he would always be there to lead the rebels to victory, no matter how daunting the odds.
None of the things you added abide by the lore, but that is okay. It was made for fun, after all. 1. Gordon woke up from stasis 20 years after The Seven Hour War, not right after. 2. The trans human forces aren't technically supposed to be there, but this is fine. It isn't that far off from the lore. 3. Tripods are somewhat believable, so I'll let them pass. Just know they weren't ever a thing in the Half Life lore. 4. I don't know what to call the thing at 0:43, so there's a timestamp. This was _never_ in the lore. I wish it was, however. And I'd be curious what its role is in the combines forces. 5. 10:23 On a second viewing, this is a really interesting edition! Do you know what it's from? 6. Dog and Alyx wouldn't be there. Alyx was 4 at the time, not 24. And Dog didn't exist. 7. Breen and an advisor *definitely* didn't touch their fingers together, and make a huge, bright explosion. What does this even symbolize? The combine winning? It felt quite odd, honestly. As a huge Half Life fan, on a second viewing, when not in a bad mood, this is pretty good. It isn't accurate, but it's certainly creative. The animation is eh, and could use some improvement, however. But it's not that bad.
What I meant by the certain non-canon elements was the transhuman forces. (Combine Soldiers) :) Thank you for the criticism! I didn't intend on making a 100% lore accurate film, and that was my plan from the beginning. Neither do I think this film represents the accurate lore of the Half-Life universe, but as I mentioned in the description, it is but one of many other possible outcomes. The Combines used Synths from other overtaken worlds, such as the Striders, Gunships/Dropships, Hunters, Crab Synths etc. and inevitably the humans which were made into Overwatch soldiers and Stalkers. We never get to see or hear about which Synths the Combines used in the 7 hour war to take over Earth as of now, and therefore I just used my imagination. :) And if I am not mistaken; didn't Gordon wake up 20 years after the Black Mesa incident, and not the Seven Hour War? When we wake up as Alyx in HL:Alyx, she is 19 years old, and the Citadel is still under construction. I may be wrong, but none the less you are right, Alyx would be atleast a few years younger! :) I am sorry if you feel my film is insulting to the Half-Life universe, but it was just made for fun. They had just revealed that a new HL game would finally come out, and I was probably as excited as you were. But I'll make sure to give my next films some more thought into what would fit in, in a more realistic image. :) (Even though the Nihilanth also was a pretty big monster, which possibly also could've been enslaved by the Combines and used against the humans as an example). And the things at 0:43 is Reapers from Mass Effect. :)
I’m also a huge half life fan, but this feels pretty excessive. It’s a harmless SFM video. It’s not like this is a Netflix original that’s going to be seen by millions of people and be their first impression of Half Life as a series. That would be much different. The chances are that if you’re looking up The Seven Hour War, you already know a fair bit about Half Life and it’s lore, and considering that the majority of the comments I see here are about how inaccurate it is, I’d say it doesn’t matter.
@@Virlance Hey, I'm sorry. I was in a bad mood, and it was wrong to critique you in such a manner. Overall, on a second viewing, it's pretty good. I did update my comment to reflect how I feel now. I'm sorry if I upset you in any way.

18:39 that honestly just feels cool to think about, when humanity is basically about to go extinct the half life hero emerges, it's like he's doom guy that gets put in the chyro space pod thing until they need him for when umanity is at stake but only now he just wakes up as gordon freeman
0:30 when you need to tell the senior dev you screwed up the database
To everyone complaining about the existence of human soldiers here…
Idk combine are multiversal, let's say they conquered a dozen different Earths.
Bam, fixed.
Big Brain, yet so obvious
But then there would be no more human soldiers because each earth has a man who wears an HEV Suit called Gordon Freeman
the human enemies shouldn't be there yet, those are people from earth who applied to it

May I ask why you added OTA and combine forces in the seven hour war? Not being mean, but the combine OTA or MP's never existed. That's why synthetics took over
Sorry for the rant
Francy anything you say here is fine because there’s one comment here that I don’t believe you could stoop lower than. Sorry for replying like this, it’s just that the comment really pissed me off. (Not yours, the other.)

But the worst depiction of it.
6/10 would’ve been 10/10 if the video went on for 7 hours
(Jokes aside I actually really enjoyed this 9/10)
The combine gangsta until a normal scientist wakes up from stasis and grabs a weak crowbar.

I’m not sure but they look like the aliens from war of the world (2005).
Impressive work, well done!

A powerful, fearless force with thousands or millions of conquered species that took over the multiverse known as the combine.

It is not particularly logical that the alliance already has soldiers in the form of people; they could not fly in and immediately catch up with the army

they did, that's why it wasn't a 6 hour war

Guessing you didnt look at the beginning of the video
Smh
Hahahahah

I am sorry if you feel my film is insulting to the Half-Life universe, but it was just made for fun.
@@Virlance Eh, fair enough.

@Dat Boii hahaha
No seriously I mean like the Combine pummeling London whilst the British Army attempt to evacuate any citizen stuck in London during this, whilst the RAF attempt to take out many flying Synths up to the jets and helicopters finally being brought down once and for all. Eventually then we see the Royal Navy being pulled out of the ports as a way to protect from other synths, either flying or boat like synths
