Excellent video! The Log + Jotter IG sent me here and I am glad they did - my wife, kids, and I just started day hiking last weekend and we are hooked. This video was really helpful for both our short day hikes and when we inevitably do longer multi-day trips. You have earned yourself a subscriber!
@@sciotoriverco-op6358 I 100% agree. I feel like all of my kids have had way too much screen time this past year, and was a bit worried that they would get bored on hikes, but they absolutely loved it and didn't ask about video games or electronics at all - they found plenty to do and explore.

Awesome! I love taking my family out to the trails. It is amazing how my son can entertain himself with the simplest activities when we are outside.
