- My first visit this year, usually visited a few times by now but finally got round to having a look at the new footpath that runs along the railway from Lakeside to Newby bridge, brilliant idea and a nice walk and even seeing parts of the river on the line i never new existed before, i can highly recommend a visit, a nice walk and plenty of viewing spots on the railway.

Cheers Carl it is a nice scenic railway and they have a nice collection of locos to, thanks for watching. Tom
Cheers for this, very fond memories of this railway, my grandparents used to take my sis and me down there in the school holidays. My nana was mad on steamies, must be where I get it from 😅
Glad you enjoyed the video, same with me my parents took me here from as young as I can remember and been visiting every year since, the new public footpath along the railway is a nice new addition, thanks for watching. Tom

Sweet & Steamy.
certainly is ;)
I really want to get to this one at somepoint.
its certainly worth a visit, especially if you do the combined train and ferry trip, thanks for watching. Tom
This is a busy steam railway, just like the one on Sodor.
It's certainly busy with tourists this time of year and a very nice railway to visit
🚂🚞🚞🚞👍
Thanks for watching. Tom 🙂👍
Just went there today 👍👍
I am a little confused as to how the bookings work, as the timetable shows a lot of different places
hope you enjoyed it
Hi thatl be the different very crossings that the trains aline with, if your not getting one of the windermere ferry trips i think the trains run every hour or so, i usually just purchase the ticket on the day and the staff are very helpful with helping you find your way
