Sometimes comparison never stops it’s human nature you just have to focus in on you and your goals you set for yourself . I dealt with large amounts of imposter syndrome. In your 20’s don’t feel like what you went to college for is what your ultimate career is going to be sometimes great opportunities may come your way pivot into them. Get some great mentors and networking is key you always want to be talked about in the rooms that you are not in. Hope that helps. And have fun you never get your 20’s back you don’t have it all figured out and that’s ok.
I’ll second everything Natasha said! I’m 40 and still dealing with imposter syndrome 😅 I just care less about what others think now. Be true to you and what you want. Fall in love with being yourself even if no one else understands. I would have been bummed if my friend got promoted and I didn’t (I’ll add a yet because anything can happen!). Your thought process is mature and full of grace and love. Very sweet 😊
Don’t worry about others here. Your vlogs are full of character and little snippets of your true life. We all have routines and watching your vlogs hit on the same topics is grounding and calming. Change only if you want to, but I think you are getting a great variety. Also people can say what they want but having a full time job and doing content creation is no joke! You’re slaying it 😅
Hi Lucia 🙂 Watching your vlogs is like I'm living in New York as well. You take us everywhere (almost) with you. You are definitely a big supporter of the theatre.
Great vlog-very positive too. You’re right with regard to watching someone you like working with to not be envious of them because you’re on your own path. Getting an education is important and now you’re going to start your masters program. Those degrees are going to take you places. I didn’t go to college as I opted not to, it just wasn’t me. I did work as a civil servant for 31 yrs and worked hard to become 1st level supervisor. I loved the challenges: hiring process; developing training program for my team; mentoring; and watching them grow and move on to their promotional career paths. The hard part about being in management is the disciplinary process which can take up 75% of one’s time. When I retired some came to my retirement celebration. It was so heartwarming to hear them tell me thank you, I have no doubt you’ll be a good fit in management. I think you have the compassion, the confidence and the desire to learn. Now onto my question…lol. Do you take your clothes to the cleaners? Is that a factor when budgeting. I took some of my clothing and I couldn’t believe the cost compared to 2019 (year I retired). The cost for the service shocked me. Again, good vlog. ✨🌼
Love your abundance mentality Lucia!!! That will take you so far. Your question re: promotions made my day!! As a former HR Exec turned Career Coach here’s my 2 cents … the things that position you best for promotions are 1) recognized consistent strong performance 2) agility and the ability to pivot positively as needed 3) demonstrating an intrapreneurial mindset bringing new fresh creative/innovative ideas that are possible in your organization’s cultural context and 4) being broadly known/having a strong internal network and finally 5) having a growth mindset/staying curious and focused on learning .
I used to do dip powder and recently tried builder gel and it was life changing! It protects your nails and it lasts perfectly until your next appointment 😁
I use the mouth tape from Skinny Confidential and I like it bc it has a tiny little slit in it so you can take a sip of water with a straw if you needed too or have the slightest bit of air if needed if you're scared lol I also find that it works well over my lip mask so my lips are not dry in the AM. Also your style is so cute!
Hi bestie!! I started rewatching all of your old moving vlogs recently and your light is so much brighter in the last month or so!! Hope you’re having a good week! ❤
I live 30 minutes from Atlantic City! Bit of advice…don’t go out on the boardwalk at night in AC…a lot of homeless people & addicts. Stay in! I’m going 11-2 to see Lenny Kravitz!
I use the same meds for my face. Sometimes when it’s too dry, I use a moisturizer first and put the Tretinoin over that for a couple of days until it’s better.
Love your videos of New York.. I love NY. Hey I go back to my nail salon if mine mess up and they fix it with no problem. I live in Texas through. But you pay to much for them not to last longer. Take care. Be safe. Love you videos😊
Those musicians on the corner have a vlog on utube also. It’s called the Happy Caravan. It’s a family of 13 that moved from Cali to NY for music opportunities. Most of them go to Julliard
Oh yeah girl you're solidly GenZ 😂 As a milennial, I loveeee your generation though. Y'all are gonna save the world!! Lol Milenials are too beat down, the older ones don't care, and gen Alpha is feral and weird 🤣 it's on you!
Do you have an office or a cubicle at work? Is all of your work on the computer/is it all digital media, or does your agency do TV and print advertising?
I know a few people that have done mouth tape and they don’t recommend it. Between dry lips, skin rashes and blocking your airflow they all tell me not to use it.
You can skip this if it's too personal but do you make money from TH-cam? Or just TikTok? I want to start and I followed you over from TikTok to your TH-cam channel 🙂
It would be fun to see you make other kinds of food and mix up the variety of your content. We hear a lot about your work outs in every single video. Same food in every single video. Honestly, It was really nice that you added this new topic… about comparisons. That is fresh & new! Interesting and deeper than the usual stuff. (When you are so predictable it can get boring.) I admire your work ethic very much!
I’ll try to talk about more things like that! I share when I see new shows/ restaurants too- but I do like to stick to a routine sometimes with things!
Hi! I love your videos but just a little constructive criticism, alot of the times Ive noticed that the camera isnt focused on your face and it makes your face look blurry. No hate! Just hard to look at sometimes.
Your definitely a Gen Z however you do also fall in that Zillennial group because you probably remember when CD players and blackberry was a thing. While being part of the first generation of iPhone users
