Ya'll, I have so many facets to me. I want to experience everything I can in this life; from cabins, to cities, to clothing, to business, to building, to traveling, to cars, to archery, to piloting, to dating, to friends, to strangers, to every. thing. I understand if you like viewing certain content over another, but I'll always circle back around, please don't try to pigeonhole my life for your entertainment. I'm a real, living human being, and I'm not always going to live my life to your satisfaction, and thats okay. deep breaths people. I'll see you all next week (doing something completely different lol) wishing you the best ♡♡
What happened to your other boyfriend......the one who bought a place next to your cabin? Have we moved on? Cuz it seems like you moved on a couple times
It’s so funny, I have been watching your videos as they resonated with me because I moved up to north of Sweden to process some difficult life lessons and live next to the woods. Then I visited my family and friends back in Gothenburg and after that accepted an offer on an apartment in the middle of the city. I can’t afford two living spaces and the apartment is a rental. But I’m planning of buying a tiny house that could be places up north. So I went bank to your channel for some nostalgia now before moving and then I see you have moved to the city 😂🤩 I have full respect for you living your life, evolving as a person and exploring life, that’s what we are here for! 👏🫶
Your channel is your creative space, and you don’t need to cater to or worry about anyone’s expectations or opinions. If some viewers don’t like it, they’re free to watch something else. Honestly, as viewers, we should be more grateful for what you choose to share-it’s a privilege, not a given. Those who truly appreciate your content will stick around. Just be yourself and keep doing what makes you happy-that’s what really matters! 😊💕
Please don’t criticise her for wanting a change from time to time. We all need that. Yes, we love her woodland life but that’s her life. Also not sure why people are complaining about the video for not being ‘exciting’. Why should she fake her life for views? She films her life so I think it’s more very normal to have calm weeks. Hannah, please ignore those negative comments and live your authentic and adventurous life 💗
I read an article about 15 years in Scandinavia, where a woman shared her experience being new in Manhattan in her early 20s. She had picked up a package and went home to her small rental studio in Manhattan. 2 days later she heard a noise in her hallway and went to check and found nothing. She then made her way back to her kitchen and there was a man making this clicking sound with his tongue and asked what they were going to have for dinner. Clearly she screamed and ran to the door, but the 2nd safety lock on the door was locked too (she had only locked the 1st lock). He came after and in his hand he dangled the key to the 2nd safety lock. The noise she had heard earlier was him locking and then he hid himself so she couldn’t see him when she checked the noise. Thankfully her neighbor heard her scream and called the police. They showed up and arrested him. It turned out the man had seen her address two days earlier when she picked up her package and later made his way over to her place😮 After hearing that story I more fully understand how many sick people walk around among us. I also never leave my key on the table next to the door, just in case + always cover my address when picking up packages. Edit: spelling error😌
@@soilgrasswaterair I've lived in NYC for years (downtown) and have never had an incident - until recently. I went around the corner for pizza, and when I unlocked the door to enter the vestibule of my building, a guy slipped in behind me. As I walked across the lobby floor to go up the steps to my apartment (yes, it's a walk-up), I sensed that he was following me. Thankfully, there happened to be a newspaper on the lobby table, so I deliberately paused to flip through the paper. The guy (who was literally so closely behind me that I could almost feel him) also started to move toward the table. I turned as quickly as possible and headed straight for the super's apartment (that happens to be on the lobby floor). Thankfully, he answered quickly. The guy that slipped into the building wandered the lobby for a bit and then left. Thank God I listened to my instincts because had I gone up that stairwell, who knows what would have happened. Please, Hannah, be careful.
Hannah please be careful filming yourself in NYC. I’ve lived here 40 years and it’s the biggest little city. I was stalked just based on 3 pictures posted on my MySpace page years ago (yes I’m old I know), so it always scares me for how much people share online now. I’m a digital hermit based on my experience, but I have a friend who vlogs and she travels out of her way (never vlogging anything in her actual neighborhood or area) to stay safe. ❤ That being said, as an NYC girl myself, I do love seeing you here in this city. I hope to see more of your country aesthetics brought to the small apartment or even a new side of your design we’ve never seen.
It's terrifying. The neighborhood, her front door, and even the # apartment she's in are in this video. Any internet sleuth could find her location with just a few seconds of clips from this video alone. Scares the shit out of me!
They come in handy in any apartment building. I live in a regular "bigger city" but my apt building is large so can be a hike from the car in the parking garage to the apt.
I've been following you for 4 years now. I love the new content and I love to grow and see you grow between cottage, house and NYC apartment. Your videos calmed me when I was in my most stressful period and now they still make me dream. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself and your loved ones 💙
Succulents, cacti, snake plants all might survive for a couple of months alone. Lots of wild ferns just go dormant when it's dry and spring back into life when it rains. Look on big oak trees.
You’re such a queen. I love your videos so much. Whether you’re in the cottage or in the city. I live for it all. And I love you don’t rely on anyone besides yourself to make things happen. It’s so inspiring. I tell my mom about how you’re so independent and can fix things all by yourself without no man. Like you are an icon.
Don't get me wrong. I love ALL of your videos. I'm just really missing your cottages. For some reason they were my favorite. Maybe I'm the only one who mentions them. ❤
No I mentioned them too. I'm more of a country girl not a city girl. I enjoy the content when she's with her cottages. I wish she would do more content and more building because I admire her so much for that I don't like the city
I like your homes in the country away from city life, I always had city life and it sucks, chaotic loud and toxic. I like those videos better by a long shot.
I just want to let you know i am loving the NYC content and think winter in New york will be alot less isolating and interesting for you for sure.I know youre getting alot of comments about people missing your cabins in the country and of course we all love them but im ok seeing all the different perspectives of your life and places you choose to thrive regardless of location in the world 💯
Change of scenery and new challenging experiences in daily living helps keep you humble and creates space for growth! I love this and I love that you have a friend that would be willing to rent the apartment with you. 💖 In my 20s.and early 30s I had so many goals and dreams, but I didn't pick friends or a partner that were aligned with my goals. Now into my early 40s, I took the leap and got my own place. I'm down to 1 friend that I hang out with once a month. Went back to school for my Master's degree. I'm looking forward to doing the things that give me excitement and being more selective about the people I bring into my life. I welcome the group of people that want to live an experience life.
Ya know that looks kinda fun. I never thought nyc would be something I'd want to try until now. Having to walk and take the train everywhere really gets you out to explore. I love your videos hannah. You live a beautiful life :)
Ill throw in my two cents (i know no one asked lol) but I am loving the new NYC content - It's great balance with the cottage content, so keep it coming please! :)
To have a place in the city and a hide away in the woods is totally a natural desire and a dream for so many. nothing wrong with this change! enjoy it 🌷
Hannah, you might check to see if there is a Tool Library near you. We have one where I live and it's fantastic; you won't need to store the tools, just check them out like library books. :) P.S., TH-cam peoples: Do not put eucalyptus in your shower (or anywhere) if you have a cat. It is extremely toxic to them.
You are such an inspiration! ❤❤ My partner and I are about to embark on an adventure: moving to Alaska. ❄ SOON! It's daunting, sure, but we're ready. I've been watching your videos for YEARS and seeing what you're capable of and what you do around your own property inspires me and gives me hope for our endeavor. Thank you for inspiring us all. Always looking forward to new videos!
I've lugged abandoned coffee tables, orphaned chaise-longues, endless food, laundry, etc... and my sorry ass throughout the streets of New York. Never had to join a gym.
I am so unsure why people are shocked and upset by this change?..... Hannah has always been a trailblazer; moving wherever her souls tides take her. Her videos always highlight the beauty and endless possibilities of everyday life, this new chapter will be no exception. We've supported her through times in the forest and vanlife on the road, why would her time in the concrete jungle be any different. Real viewers who watch for Hannah will continue giving her the love and support she deserves .... those who were watching merely to connect with nature through a screen, there are plenty of other creators to explore not to mention I AM SURE hannah will return to nature at times. So happy for you hannah and I can't wait to see what this new chapter holds for you!!
Eeeee I've been a follower for years and it's so cool you're in the city, I moved back to nyc after years in the woods this fall and I feel you HARD on how it's fun but so logistically inconvenient, like carrying heavy grocery bags for forty minutes on the train inconvenient but worth it. I hope the city treats you well
I used to conduct surveillances in Manhattan in the late '70s, early '80s. My favorite spots were Washington Square Park and all the Indian restaurants on East 6th Street in Greenwich Village. You would walk through narrow hallways to emerge in a courtyard in the back, with a suspended parachute protecting you from any sudden showers. Best food ever.
I do love NYC so thank you for bringing us along! Take care not to show too much of the area, we love you and want you to be safe XXX P. S I saw your apartment number as well as several others and a street sign xx
little hack for you in NYC trying to carry big stuff through the train -- don't bring it through the turnstile, just set it next to the exit gate door next to the stiles and then once you walk through the stiles you can open the exit door and bring your stuff through
I love all of your videos and carpentry talent, eye for design and your dedication. As much as I love and miss the cabins, I am super excited to see what you do with your city space :) Sugars from Vegas!
Ahh, I was about to say this wouldn’t be a HLD video unless there was a piece of wood being cut, nailed, and decorated… even in NYC. Can’t wait to see what y’all come up with
Gen Xer music nerd here, always thoroughly impressed by your musical selections. :^) So many times I'll say out loud, "How does she even know this song?!"
Comments about missing the videos at the cottages: I think people must’ve missed her video where she said a follower showed up at the cottages unannounced and it scared her. Shortly after, she bought the house and moved away. It sounds like the cottage address is in the public now, and no longer safe for her to stay there alone. Perhaps she should just sell them, or maybe rent them out as AirBnB? I would hate for anything to happen to her, simply because people are requesting she make more videos there.
Wow, that's terrible! I love watching her videos but I can't imagine in a million years wanting to show up at one of her properties or thinking that was at all ok. People are really wild sometimes.
I also want to know which video is it, because I watch all her videos and this is the first time I heard about someone showing up there. How creepy! I never understood why she moved to the homestead, really, I just thought the structure of the house was better.
She actually started out this summer saying she was going to spend more time at the cottages so I don't think this is true. And she's also spent a lot of time at the cottages since moving to the house. You are speaking out of turn.
hi hannah! i just wanted to say that, i’ve been watching you since your first van tour of walter, and there were only like 15k when i subscribed. i kinda fell off keeping up with your uploads for the past year, but i’ve been slowly watching them for 3 months or so, and i’ve finally caught up! this is the first video of yours that i’m kinda watching real time in a long time and that makes me happy for some reason. idk why i wanted to share that haha anyway, i truly love you and your videos and i hope you’re always having a great day :)) lots of love from ph 🇵🇭
If you ever miss your ice skating rink, just head over to Rockefeller Center, especially for the lighting of the big tree! I loved living in New York, but the cost of living got to be more than what I wanted to spend every month.
I absolutely love your videos! For some odd reason they calm me down lol I have a flight back home to Texas in a couple days and in the middle of moving my entire life back home I'm super stressed out.. lol But You are making me feel much better lol Sending love from Ohio ❤❤❤
Lord I had sooo much anxiety with you wearing headphones.. just be careful.. the city is a whole new world and the area can change drastically from block to block. Always be aware of your surroundings ❤ and for my sanity leave one ear open when you're walking down the street😅
Impressive. I live in Seattle and carrying too much heavy stuff for too many blocks is like, life..and an every day activity that makes for really strong bones! Urban hiking! The personal roller-carrying basket for grocery shopping is a game changer.
The city-girls are always dreaming of the cottage life alone away from people, the cottage-life girlies are always dreaming of all the adventure and boys in the big city… you have the best of both worlds Hannah! Live it up! 🫶🏼
With a glass shower door you’re going to want a squeegee. I have all glass showers in my home and we squeegee right before we step out and then there’s never a streak on the door. It’s great. Low maintenance this way.
I make TH-cam videos in a similar spirit as you about my life in the remote West (in my tiny house) but before I moved to such a remote place I lived in Rome and London and sometimes I miss the energy and experience of the city. I think you've done a beautiful thing by creating this combination. I know I'd never want to live in the city again (I need nature like I need air) but I wouldn't mind being able to take trips. Excited for you kindred spirit friend! Sending love from my little corner of the world to yours! 🧡
When i didnt have a car& walked everywhere in my town, I invested in a few bungie cords &roomy wheelie backpack to wheel groceries &packages so I didn't have to lug& carry, all the heavy things, if that helps ya any in NYC🗽we're about 6hrs Northeast🍀Boston coast ⛱️ xojo💌 u could even use ur carry on luggage in a pinch!
Urban camping. 😊 I love New York, grew up going there a lot in my younger years. While I still enjoy aspects of it, after a while it gets to be too much and I happily run back to my cabin in the woods. 😄 Your apartment is beautiful! I'm sure you'll enjoy all the vast array of art, music, and food...and nothing like going to the Blarney Stone before hitting the Garden for a Rangers game! A quintessential NY experience...😊 Hope you have a great time in your new digs! ❤
I really enjoy watching you capture all the details of your life in such a beautiful way. Your videos feel organic in a way that is comforting and inspiring to watch and seeing them develop into such a beautiful collection )
Hannah you truly are just mesmerizing in all ways. You’re such an inspiration and make me wanna get off my lazy butt and do stuff lol 😂😊 you are living your best life and it shows!! ❤ I always look fwd ti your videos cause they relax me so much. Thanks for being your girl! ❤
Pointer finger out stretched along the top side of saw makes it easier to control at the start & helps with straight lines (not that you needed help with that). Great job ❤ I’ve installed a couple of cat flaps with limited tools in my time and resorted to the wonderful ( if a little hard going) bread knife 😂. Can’t wait to see what else you two do with the place.
Well, the little shelf looks great, but you did forget one thing that you should have made the shelf a bit taller because if you need to access the tank for repair, i.e., the flapper in the bottom of the tank or the handle, you'll need to remove the shelf and all the supplies you put on top. You might want to get a battery-powered saw or something like it that might even be a multi-tool. Just a thought for future projects. Have a great day.
7:18 I saw the eucalyptus over shower hack on Rajiv Surendra's channel and have been doing it ever since! A bunch of fresh chamomile flowers are really nice in spring too if you have a mesh strainer.
Oh Hannah hee cute 😊 loving the sneaky close up shots. Yes we see 😍 LOVE the NY content and happy you’ve got this new balance. Lots of love from the UK x
The toilet “over shelf” nice and functional. The candles you mentioned putting there will be nice. In time I believe this apartment will transition into another “cottage” of your making.
Soooo agree on eucalyptus aroma! Since moving to Mexico 15 years ago I'm constantly on the lookout for it in every flower market and have never found it. I've had to resort to eucalyptus aerosol sprays from Amazon, but it's just not the same.
The fact youre in the same city and go to the same park as Kennedy (Walsh) is so cool to me...I always thought you could be good friends so maybe you run into each other someday
Actually not all that surprised that you choose to stay single, Hannah. It would take a rather special, secure human to be totally okay with all the close connections that you have. I think you have the right idea overall. Many great connections is far superior to one possibly restrictive connection, in my opinion. As someone who’s last relationship was abusive (1.5 years ago and still healing as I thought with all my heart they were my person), I can appreciate an approach that puts you first in your own life no matter what. Then your happiness is never dependent on someone else, and therefore you’re much more likely to be in a happy, joyful mindset more often overall, which then also attracts people of like minds into your life to enjoy common interests without all the complications of romantic relationships. Smart. It’s actually healing in a way to watch you do you, like it’s possible to be happy, healthy, healing AND get to have connections with other humans in the process. Just goes to show that doing one’s own thing doesn’t have to be done in isolation if one would rather have meaningful connection too. ❤
My son lives in NYC too. He goes to FIT. ❤ I didn’t like it in the city. Constant horns beeping and it smells so bad. 😂 very dirty too. I used to be a city girl but not anymore. It’s fun to watch you experience all you do.
No matter where you are.. in the city or at the cottage or cabin ❤ I love your content! Girl I will be watching and routing you on.. I know people like certain things but girl your channel your way ❤️ I know how lonely being in the woods can be, I have a campground and when I’m there alone for a while I start to scare myself 😂 lbvs
I haven’t seen one of your videos since you built the new garden gate at the newer cabin. Wow, I have missed a lot! 😆 I wasn’t expecting an apt in NYC! lol But I love it! New adventures! However, I do love love love cabin life! Remember building the ice skating rink in the winter at cabin #1! ♥️ Fun winter moments! 🥰😁⛸️
As a person who swaps between NYC and the mountains, I find NYC so much easier than living in a remote area! I also usually have a car with me in NYC which makes “project” shopping easier I guess.

Eeeee I've been a follower for years and it's so cool you're in the city, I moved back to nyc after years in the woods this fall and I feel you HARD on how it's fun but so logistically inconvenient, like carrying heavy grocery bags for forty minutes on the train inconvenient but worth it. I hope the city treats you well
I dont care where your journey takes you, I'm just happy to follow along ❤
I used to conduct surveillances in Manhattan in the late '70s, early '80s.
My favorite spots were Washington Square Park and all the Indian restaurants on East 6th Street in Greenwich Village.
You would walk through narrow hallways to emerge in a courtyard in the back, with a suspended parachute protecting you from any sudden showers.
Best food ever.
This is one of the most interesting comments Ive ever read LOL. Now I want to know MORE!
I’m loving the NYC content! Can’t wait to see as you spend more time there! I love NYC!
Looking forward for the next one!
Her parents raised her well 🎶🎶🎼🎵
Love love love that ur back in the city! OG watchers will know how good the apartment diys will be, welcome back to the city girll life❤❤❤
Comments about missing the videos at the cottages: I think people must’ve missed her video where she said a follower showed up at the cottages unannounced and it scared her.
Do you recall a video that was? I watched all her videos and I don't remember seeing that. That would be so creepy
I also want to know which video is it, because I watch all her videos and this is the first time I heard about someone showing up there. How creepy! I never understood why she moved to the homestead, really, I just thought the structure of the house was better.
What video was this?? 👀 I've never heard about it before
She actually started out this summer saying she was going to spend more time at the cottages so I don't think this is true.
I love ur little NYC apt Hannah if I felt I could afford to I'd do same! Thx for taking us along 💚
I totally would! She is young and can clearly afford it, go for it! Life is short and she really lives hers. Best of both worlds NYC and country life.
I like that you’re mixing it up and still doing “mini” projects
I absolutely love your videos! For some odd reason they calm me down lol I have a flight back home to Texas in a couple days and in the middle of moving my entire life back home I'm super stressed out.. lol But You are making me feel much better lol Sending love from Ohio ❤❤❤
Lord I had sooo much anxiety with you wearing headphones.. just be careful.. the city is a whole new world and the area can change drastically from block to block. Always be aware of your surroundings ❤ and for my sanity leave one ear open when you're walking down the street😅
I dont even walk around Minneapolis with any headphones in.
Anytime I've been in NYC and passed that Home Depot I've been fascinated with its exterior. Thanks for the peek inside!
Also, get you a collapsible cart!
Seriously, it's a game changer!
Wonderful....your new apartment is going to be fun to decorate and furnish....happy days ahead. Congratulations
I really enjoy watching you capture all the details of your life in such a beautiful way. Your videos feel organic in a way that is comforting and inspiring
to watch and seeing them develop into such a beautiful
collection )
Hannah you truly are just mesmerizing in all ways. You’re such an inspiration and make me wanna get off my lazy butt and do stuff lol 😂😊 you are living your best life and it shows!! ❤ I always look fwd ti your videos cause they relax me so much. Thanks for being your girl! ❤
I like this city phase for you ❤️❤️
Can hardly wait for NY Christmas through your eyes!🥰
I love this new era! Hannah in the big city, go get em girl!
Much preferred the country life honey city just ain't my thing but hope you do good luck 🍀 🍀🍀❤😊
I am so loving watching your life journey! It is so fun! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Love it Hannah! Makes me miss my New York days! Can’t wait to see what you do with your apartment!
I'm so here for the winter-in-newyork content
We ❤ you Hannah no matter where you are!
I miss when you were at your two little cabins. It was so much fun watching you renovate them. I feel like you never finished them.they are so cte.
A home is never finished
Does she still have them?
Hanna, im so happy to see that you moving with people. Awaiting for more content like this. ❤
Absolutely loved this vlog. Such a new experience!
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers 👍🥰
Pointer finger out stretched along the top side of saw makes it easier to control at the start & helps with straight lines (not that you needed help with that). Great job ❤ I’ve installed a couple of cat flaps with limited tools in my time and resorted to the wonderful ( if a little hard going) bread knife 😂. Can’t wait to see what else you two do with the place.
For sticker removal, try lemon essential oil… more natural and smells better.. works like a charm.
Loving seeing you do this. Ive always wanted a tiny place in NY i could just gtab a small bag and ho on small trips to. Very fun.
7:18 I saw the eucalyptus over shower hack on Rajiv Surendra's channel and have been doing it ever since! A bunch of fresh chamomile flowers are really nice in spring too if you have a mesh strainer.
Excited about NYC, if it aligns with your mission can you shoot holiday content in NYC. It’s so magical.
Hannah hope you have a great time living in New York ❤take care girl stay safe 🙏❤🤗
Cute video of your new life there! Hope you are enjoying!
I love your little apartment in NYC! Thank you for sharing it. ❤ Btw, your friend, Kenny was especially cute not wanting to be recorded. 🤭😉
Eucalyptus oil removes sticky residue easy as pie, and it smells MUCH nicer than nail polish. No fumes, just freshness.
You look so different living in new York in stead of the country where I first saw you and your amazing channel ❤❤
now you need one of those folding carts with spinning triple wheels that can navigate steps and stairs, maybe
My son lives in NYC too. He goes to FIT. ❤ I didn’t like it in the city. Constant horns beeping and it smells so bad. 😂 very dirty too. I used to be a city girl but not anymore. It’s fun to watch you experience all you do.
Love the NY vlogs! My fav city! Have u considered an electric scooter to scoot round for errands 😊
“Off we go….like a heard of turtles!” 🐢 I automatically finished off your sentence for you 😂 .
Oh all the city noise is a no for me 😅 love this adventure for you though, catch you in the next one!!
so happy for you
I haven’t seen one of your videos since you built the new garden gate at the newer cabin.
If my lifestyle could support a cabin and a NYC apartment, I’d be doing this too! You go girl
Hey Hannah, would you consider making a what's in my closet video? I really love your style!😍
Oh fun! I’ve been waiting to see how you’re having fun in New York.
Love the content no matter what u vlog..I will never live in NYC but it’s fun watching you do it..
Hannah love all the seasons of you and this was no exception too.. Keep doing you love it.. ❤❤❤❤
You should buy a cart for picking things up. I had one in Chicago that had a bag for groceries, but when I took the bag off it was like a dolley.
I’m appreciative of your nice personality
Hey Hanna I just moved to New York too
