Hey mate! Just wondering which and where you get your replacement blades for the 216? Do you use OEM or alternatives like GA Spares? Have you tried both? Is there a difference? Do you bother sharpening your blades or just replace? Cheers mate!
I use ASP blades or genuine the cheap chinese blades don't wear very well on one of my videos I talk about blades . I do sharpen them sometimes as I do a lot of prestige properties and want a clean cut . I do this with a flap disc on the angle grinder
Hey mate in your video about the gearbox you didn’t mention anything about the oil and I haven’t been able to see much about oil changes for the gearbox, is it an easy job?
Its a sealed box and doesn't require oil changes nless you open it up for some reason , I dont bother with trying to fix a broken gearbox I just replace it , I do have a mate that pulls them apart and repairs the gears but its a lot of mucking around and I personally think they are never the same once you open them up and try to fix it , It is a good idea if you have a broken one to pull it apart and see how they work

I've had mine for about 13/14 years and I honestly couldn't use the word lightness when speaking of it. Great thing though.
I got one with the blade brake and sold it... hated it. I got a couple of the older ones from Gumtree etc just used domestically.
