Hi Allen and Thank you for all your videos . I have a question about forward facing sonar because for my birthday I received a mega imaging unit for my hummingbird. I only have one unit up front do I need two units or can I get by with one and if so what are the pros and cons .Thank you
When I first installed my live target I had a 12' screen and after using it I got another 12" and stacked them. You can split the screen but then the windows are only 6" on a 12" monitor. Or you can use the whole screen for live and keep switching back and forth. I like using my sonar and GPS along with my live. Which Hummingbird unit do you have? Helix?
Sorry don't know where that is. Stripers seem to be spread all over the place with all this high water. I haven't been striper fishing in months because of the weather but will be getting out soon.
Hey Alan, was wondering if there's anyone local to the sacramento area you could recommend to me that can repair broken fishing rods? I have a couple dobyns champions that ended up on the receiving end of a soon to be ex-wifes wrath😮😮😂
Most Dobyn's rods are one piece and if there broken Dobyn's offers a expedition fee were you can take it in to FW and paid the fee which is like half the price plus shipping and walk out with a new rod. If the blank is broken and put back together it will break again n won't have the same action.

I may still get one. I release them for the most part. I tried up in the foothills for bass today 4 a good four hours. Only one swing n a miss 4 me 2 day. Get your ass back on the water Alan …. Hey I follow this other guy just doing his own thing, I saw the video ,he's bank fishing in sac where the American and sac meet, he got a few keeper stripers up to 30 " . I'm going in a week or two on the san Joaquin around mossdale for the stripes I will report back
The water is cleaner at the mouth and the stripers are moving up river already. I'm sure there in the San Joaquin river now. I'll be going this next week down in the San Joaquin river side looking around

Yes there something going on at Berryessa that is really strange. Hopefully with all this high water the lake will stablize and start to fish like it should be.

NO problem and stay on the east side on Mokolume and San Joaquin river is not bad
Any word on the depth that the kokanee are running at Bullards @AlanFong
FYI, the Mokelumne is blown out also
Look at the sloughs off the Mokelume like Beaver, Hog and Scymore

What was used to mooch with for the King Salmon at Oroville? Anyone using gitzits?
Most guys that mooch there use small anchovies but I know my gitiz will work there

Do carp like dirty water?
Any bottom feeding fish will be more active in dirty water like: sturgeon, catfiish & carp
