@SenseiRaisen That's not the reason. Gurren Lagann's writer, Nakashima was also the chief editor on the Getter Robo Saga manga compilation by Ken Ishikawa. (The creator of Getter Robo). Nakashima also calls himself Ken Ishikawa's number one fan. In his own words "There's a lot of Ken Ishikawa-ism in Gurren Lagann". The Gurren Lagann director, Imaishi did a Getter Robo Go fanart back then. Look it up it's pretty well drawn.

@2000yurien Because it is SRW and it is hardly the first time they ignored or delayed someone's death. Since the game only covers the first three episodes they decided to let you keep Musashi the entire time. There will probably be some excuse to switch them when part two comes out.
@doctorlatino123 You are correct Doc, They had to keep some stuff out or else there is no real reason to bring them into Z2 part 1. They held back on alot of mechs ultimate skills like Jiron's Walker Gallie, I got a bit pissed when I was playing and beat the game and didnt get is ICBM move... I got mad but I know in the next game that move will be back and it will kick ass! That and the Stoner Sunshine!!!
@overnerd02 Yeah, but without Great Mazinger or Grendizer there to contribute to the mayhem it wouldn't be much of a Final Dynamic Special. There's always next time, though.
