When I was a little girl I desperately wanted to go to acting school but to even get started you had to be accepted in and then sign a contract, which you had to pay $1200 upfront, my little ass somehow got my grandparents to take me 3 hours away to the school, there was one class where everything’s set up like a commercial set, you have to literally do a scene until it sounds normal. I remember thinking “commercials are not at all like what I imagined”
