I think the reason why people long for and come back to places like this is, because during these particular times, we were truly free in this web that we call life.
Yap. you are absolutely correct. I remember playing aion in the summer time, windows cracked 11 pm at night without a worry in the world. Just home for summer break, nothing else needed to be done. :)
Looking back on this masterpiece of a game *during beta and 6 months into launch*, I can truly say gaming is not the same. Something is missing and games like Aion had "it". :(
@@skyguy1988 not only that. But a lot of MMOs are the same Asian themed mid evil knights style. Wich all resembles Earth. Aion on the other hand actually felt like a fantasy mmo. Music is breath taking and the landscape is like no other. The world was magical.
@@flint9889 I agree, Aion is ridiculously unique in its story and concept, and I love it. It's super fantasy-like and yet was somehow able to implement a massive focus on angel-like stuff. Haven't seen any game do the same to such a great degree.

yap. it's the sense of the gigantic world, sense of adventure and patience for reward. that's why they brought back wow classic
