I love this. Software engineers and computer scientists were fed up of human clients. It's time for everybody to struggle building their own broken apps. In the meantime we can move to other things 👍Also fixing the broken apps people will build with this thing is going to be the next multimillionaire business sector, for the ones who can bear it.

Or looking it from another point of view. Now you as a developer can sell your apps to companies billing full time when you only require a morning to do them.

@@snorch6697 For a dev it's no good building an application that is so limited and cannot scale. One of the fundamental points in programming is to be able to write scalable applications which is what takes a real engineer to figure out. As soon as you start introducing complex bespoke features to this, it's no longer going to be a morning but more like a month.

Thank you Emma, this is really cool to work with. I remember working with VBA and C++ (Win32 API) you needed to build objects to refer methods to get the selected item and then use a array with a index to retrieve data values. This is really an another way to develop software. I think Microsoft is going to a right direction to make solid apps that business sometimes needs to do little things without programming skills. As always I like to control code on myself, but having to think that Power Apps gives such a flexibilty to design and program the app (using GUI) is really cool to see. Hope to see more videos and examples. Thanks

I am not sure if it's possible but if this tool can programe in external APIs and databases then extract and populate the information on the front end, that would be a game changer.

Microsoft has always had a design problem. Their head designer creates Microsoft's design with a file and sledgehammer, not a paintbrush. I am a designer myself and am very sensitive to all their visuals. They are good on the inside, but the exterior is very far from modern design.

Why getting Power Apps is so difficult? I cannot buy this service with any of my private emails, even the one in my own domain for which I pay. Why are you making it so diificult for everyone: both private users and developers. I would actually both use and develop Power Apps, and I'm willing to pay for that, but I can't. Why? And do you have something for people like me?

Microsoft has a way of dumbing down programming experience. They did exactly the same with MS Access. Most people don't want to use MS Access and the same thing will happen with this approach. No company serious about their business will ever use it. Neither programmers that want to have full control of entire design process. Microsoft what are you thinking?
