Hey Z, heres a tip for early game stonks: costs 30 di hydrogen to CRAFT a jelly, then SMELT IT INTO 40, STONKS! (may be xbox only t’s and c’s apply lol)

@@needlessgamer9644 craft it then refine it back net gain of 10 per. Not much but when you do it 50 or 60 at a time it adds up. I do it all the time to fuel frigate missions.

Not sure if that's still the case, but the amount of resources you got with the terrain manipulator depended on the size of the beam. With a wide setting, you got less, with a narrow setting you got more.
You can go on a beautiful planet where there is not storms but when you build a base it will say storms in coming just for you to build a base

Wow you were one extremely lucky person. I've watched so many playthroughs of this game so many hours of watching people restarting a new game and you are the very first person I have seen start in a system with a paradise planet that is extremely lucky never ever do people usually get good planets in their first system and that's usually because they want you to explore out words so yes this is a good play through so far. I had a buddy who kind of had a terrible start on his play through but all the resources were so plentiful it was ridiculous even desert planets just had massive patches of oxygen and other products he could collect so even if he had a terrible location he had plenty of materials together and sell he had so much money by day 3 it was ridiculous just because all the different materials it was almost like it did a double generation of materials in each location he could literally collect 600 carbon or even 800 oxygen one time off a single patch of oxygen plants and it was like that for everything mass of metal nodes it was crazy and I watched him set up the settings they were all normal generation

I'm not positive but I think setting up your first base on a planet changes the weather. I had a world with no storms in the description but after I set up the base the description changed and listed storms. Perhaps best to setup the first base on a junk planet so you don't ruin the Paradise world in your first system if you have one. I think this happens because the shelter building mission requires a storm to show up. Wish I had known this before setting up my first base.
I mean, there are a lot of other Systems in which you can set another awesome base on another awesome planet if yk what i mean.

My biggest pet hate about this game is space ships can only move in 2 dimensions, rather than 3
Btw in multiplayer you can trade ships if it wasn't patched out this update
Just go to a space station in multiplayer with a friend and they have the ship you want and they sell it to an NPC then you wait by their ship and wait for the NPC to pop up then you buy that ship for free and then they immediately leave then you have a free ship and they still have their ship since they quit basically duplicating it and giving u one for free

He uses the same view modes as me, I just find it easier to do stuff in first person but it's easier to fly in third person.

That so-called paradise planet looks a lot like dathomir from jedi fallen order
I will admite I may have had some steller luck on my normal save as I have some good worlds, the imperial star destroyer ship and I have my extream home I love having because of the recorces. Plus it's rich in sentinal activity so free ammo and stuff. All in all my home system has just about everything and with in a jump visa station I have the rest in my naborign systems. And a small fleet to fit my capital.

My starting planet was terrible. There was only caves and cliffs and on top of that the temp was like 80 Celsius
