In this episode, Jake strikes first for the Buck Fever Crew on a unique early season Wisconsin buck! The weekend started on Friday night when Noah joined Jake on a mission to shoot a doe or two. The guys were covered up in deer all night but things never quite came together. Looking back, it was all for the best. On Saturday night, Jake was able to sneak into a stand just sixty yards from the one he sat in with Noah the night before to arrow one of his target bucks! I’ve killed a many deer out of a creaky old self built treestand between two -three trees grouped together and the deer don’t pay it a bit of mind and it actually helps drowned out your noise 😂 !!! Creaking is good & cracking is bad is what I learned lol🤣

Tell me about it! We actually have around 20 stands but we had a rare east wind which severely limited our selection of stands to sit in. Then we brought a cameraman into the mix, so the choices became even more limited! We actually retired this old gun stand years ago since it's falling apart, but decided to un-retire it for the night considering the circumstances. Next video, no more squeaky stand - we promise! That stand historically is best stand on the property ! The deer are used to it and the creaking only disguises your noise & that stand is the roots of what deer hunting really is …
