Man. Got my A licence. Have used a 125cc for a decade. Bought a 650 v strom and promptly dropped it , couldn’t get off in time and cracked my ribs. Flew through mod 1 and 2 on a cbf600 so was overconfident about my ability to handle weight. Huge ego check. Back to riding now… My journey has a big chunk of motorway and then city riding. The screen I have is so big that I’m forced to look through it. On wet days it’s awful. Benefit is that on motorway I get almost no wind hitting my shoulders. Need to try the stock screen. My advice for short riders, REALLY consider the seat height! And accept that most riders will drop a bike, just let it drop and don’t try to rescue it. After a certain angle, just let it go.
Great video man, brilliantly put together and enjoyable to watch - subbed. Trying to get on the road this summer with a 125 and my CBT. I'm 21 and 6 foot 5 so trying to find a solid adventure bike that won't make me look like a gorilla on a clown trike! All the best

Would be nice to be able to as I love wild camping but it's mostly going to be for getting to Uni the next city over and getting around Cardiff - with a few trips to Brighton (Where I'm from before Uni). Maaate, I can't think of a 125 adv bike full stop. There's bikes like the Kawasaki VERSYS-X 300, and KTM's 390 that are tall-ish. If you get your A2 licence or, used, maybe more of a dual-sport might be a shout - I'm selling my Suzuki DRZ400e now which I'll easily sell it for what I paid for it. Was a good first bike really, if maybe a bit scally.
@@BeinginMotion I was taking a gander at the Derbi Terra and Sinnis terrain - both 125s and can just about make motorway speeds which is pretty impressive! I'll have a look into the dual sports, the wallet will only really stretch to the CBT this time around, but I'll upgrade within a year I reckon

Yeah I’ve got a bunch of vids taking you through each step on the license, CBT, theory test, mod one and two - they might help. Click on my channel. The CBT will help. The first half of the CBT is on a closed site so that gets you used to just riding a motorcycle then, as long as you’re ready, they take you on road in the afternoon. Road riding can be nerve wreaking as motorcycles are the most vulnerable but it does get easier with time. Those nerves are actually useful, pay attention to the very real danger it’s alerting you to. The real problem is when those nerves go over time and we get too complacent !

Being in Motion signed up! Managed to move CBT earlier to this week and got done with it. It may need 6-8 weeks waiting to take Mod 1 as well as the training. Seems like still a long way to go.
