Master raids need to drop harmonic alloy (the material needed for crafting raid weapons) on encounter and ascendant alloy on weekly challenge completion. Currently the only source of harmonic is dismantling raid weapons which themselves share a loot pool with armor. And ascendant alloy needs to be more available. Add raid mementos (ideally these would be raid specific for unique raid shaders) and give them a chance to drop on final boss kill on master. Give Hawthorne a weekly bounty that drops a guaranteed memento. The bounty could require master completion of each encounter so people are encouraged to play the whole raid rather than just look for a boss checkpoint. Add an upgrade to crafted raid patterns (specifically the pattern and not each unique craft of the gun). Maybe add this function to the "vendor" menu on the side of the relic that gives you relic quests. Have a list for each raid that has weapon patterns (you unlock the "King's Fall" list by feeding the relic a raid memento from that raid so it's locked behind master difficulty of that raid). In that list you can upgrade each gun pattern with 25 harmonic alloy and an ascendant alloy. The upgrade gives the all crafted versions of the weapon an extra slot in 3rd and 4th (you'd still need the relevant materials to craft the perk or their enhanced version). It also enables adept mods for the crafted weapon and gives the small stat boost you would get for masterworking an adept/timelost/harrowed weapon. Edit: How could I forget. Master armor needs to look like master armor. The ornaments from D1 VoG and King's Fall are a no brainer. Of course once you get the armor, you can get the ornament from transmog. I believe this solves all the issues (that I can think of) with master raids and makes it enticing enough without stepping on the toes of existing systems.
Also if ornaments aren’t dropping from masters it makes no sense to play if you get armor or weapons. Would rather just craft at that point if I’m not gonna get the armor ornaments. High stat armor alone isn’t worth it. Or make it do each encounter is guaranteed a weapon. That and letting adepts be craftable

The weapons if you get one to drop have extra perks yea but if I already have a good roll of that weapon pr a crafted version whats the point of going for harrowed. For master mode why not add the missing kings fall weapon to its loot pool so there’s greater incentive to play master to get exclusive weapons
Doing raids is just about having fun with mates now. Exotic drops rates to force you to play had the exact opposite effect on me ... if there is little to no chance for any team member to get the drop why bother.
Adept weapons should be craftable. The raid armour should be artifice. Otherwise there is literally ZERO point to do master raids unless you want the seal. That's it.
But the seal doesn’t do anything for you aside from make you look slightly prettier. The adept weapons mean basically nothing now, it’s the same story as VOTD, and the armor is just not worth it since you’ll get just as good armor easier through other sources. In terms of giving you anything that actually benefits you, it’s still a waste

I know people carry on saying “oh just give adept weapons enhanced perks” but in my opinion that would highly take away from the uniqueness of craftable weapons and make that grind basically useless. Instead I think they should do an adept mod overhaul. Instead of making adept mods just “here’s an increase to a stat” they should make them almost like exotic perks. For example, stuff like “critical hits increase crit damage” or “rapid weapon final blows gives a boost to ability regen for the ability with the lowest amount of ability energy” just stuff like that could make them both useful unique and fun to use without taking away from the crafted weapon grind.
Craftable weapons shouldn't be more unique or better than adept weapons, period. They either need to add adept origin perks or enhanced perks on adepts. The crafted grind will be fine. They're meant to be dependable target farms, but adepts should be better than crafteds, otherwise they're pointless.
The crafted weapon grind is fine because you can craft that perfect godroll, but if you're lucky enough to get a godroll ADEPT from a MASTER raid, then it should be better.
