- The MCU has changed a lot since Tony Stark’s epic sacrifice, and while his fateful snap was a very fitting end to his character arc, I know I’m not the only one who wonders what would the MCU look like if Tony Stark was still alive. I understand the need for characters not overstaying their welcome and I also understand Tony Stark is like this huge magnet of charisma and charm which makes people want to see him in more things so it was probably best that he was taken off the board completely. But on the other hand, it’s Tony Stark! He was the face of the MCU and I don’t think anyone would be that upset if Robert Downey Jr. wanted to play the character forever.
So I thought it would be fun to play a big game of ‘What If!’ And for this video I ask the all-important question, what if Tony Stark was still alive? Apart from all of us being ecstatic, you have to consider all the monumental changes that would happen as a result of this. For one, Black Widow’s death probably would be treated as a much bigger deal, but there’s a lot of discussion to be had regarding Tony’s future in the MCU. Would we get an Iron Man 4? Would Tony take a break from being Iron Man to become the Director of SHIELD like in the comics? What would Spider-Man’s arc be like with his mentor surviving the snap? I’ll discuss all of those today!

I hope that we get an iron man 4 in the future with Rhodey, the same way we're getting a fourth captain America films with Sam wilson. And tbh if captain America and Thor are getting at least 4 solo films, iron man definitely deserves to have 4 films more so than anyone else. He's the guy that started literally everything and it's RDJ iron man so...
Assuming Tony had survived Avengers: Endgame, the confrontation with Thanos would have still left him with medical problems. If he survived using the Gauntlet, he may have even lost his hand. He certainly would have needed long-term medical attention.

Captain America couldn't have got a better ending. He always reminisced about the life he could've had if he hadn't drowned and frozen for 70 years. Giving him the chance to go back and relive his life the way he wanted was a stroke of genius

It would make for a really interesting scene if peter Parker saw tony stark while out and about and tony didn’t know who he was because of the spell, and then we find out that Tony did survive but has gone into hiding for some reason, and the only reason he was discovered is because the whole world forgot who peter Parker was.

Post end game mcu really needs Tony Stark. It's been terribly disappointing.
Iron Man 4 could have been him Meeting the real Mandarin before Shang Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings. Or him leaving with Star Lord to travel off planet, although he would prioritise Pepper and Morgan. Armor wars seems like a rodhey thing now since we have all grown into that since the announcement. He couls also possibally just retire and only show up to help others with science and technological advancements. Spider-man would still be in the picture and tony would be his tech advisor of some sort but not join in on the fight to be with Morgan. Even if tony survives, no matter which future he is building up to, his story arc would still center around Morgan Stark.

What would have happened if Tom Holland's Spider-Man movies took place as a prequel before Captain America civil war with him in his classic suit? i think since they moved past black widow and steve rogers i think having kept RDJ around in a more limited role would have been great. Tony would make a fantastic leader for the Illuminati. Instead of being Iron Man, he could focus on leading the group protecting the multiverse, allowing Peter to take on the role of tech superhero in his own universe. There are some universes where he is still alive and Thanos never happened (the one where T'challa becomes Star Lord, for example) that could potentially be a thing, if Marvel would pull their heads out of their asses and stop trying to promote B list characters that no one asked for.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
