  • Starbucks workers in Mesa, AZ, are fighting to become next unionized Starbucks store in the U.S. Workers began organizing after Starbucks fired their sick manager for calling out corporate’s union-busting in Buffalo. Now they’re facing Starbucks' extreme anti-union tactics at their own store.

All Starbucks employees should join the union. Starbucks keeps an empty seat on the board for employee representation - so that seat should be filled by an employee who is representing other employees....like an elected union representative.

Every Starbucks in their district is having anti union meetings, and Starbucks is petitioning the NLRB to let every employee in the district vote. They are hoping to dilute the vote of that store with the whole district.

I feel sorry for the Starbucks employees I haven't been to a Starbucks in years. Here in San Francisco we have some wonderful local coffee shops I patronize them. Starbucks bought a local bakery cafe chain I believe they had 20 stores throughout the Bay area they held on to them for a year or so then closed everything down.. what's weird is they didn't even replace them they just shut them down and they say vacant until some other company took over the space.
Also if you order something cold from Starbucks they fill the cup with ice to the brim to only get a quarter of a cup or half a cup of whatever the beverage is you've ordered .
