- A Savaria Szimfonikus Zenekar 2013. június 15-én rendhagyó flash mobot szervezett Szombathely Fő terén, Giuseppe Verdi Aida című operájának indulóját hallhatták a járókelők. A flashmob beharangozója az Iseumi Szabadtéri Játékoknak. (www.iseum.eu)

I absolutely love these Flash Mob concerts, they remove the "stuffiness" from the music and just play it for the people, as it should be.

I love Flash Mob events. . . They're especially moving to me as a way to "hook" younger audiences to the living musicians, the drama, emotion of the music and voice of each instrument, and much less "detached" than sitting in a symphony hall in the rows. . . all pert, dressed up and formidable. Those groups that embrace "flash-mobbing" know, I think, that the process brings their many skills closer and more intimately with an audience. Love Flash Mobs--those I've seen, that is. . .

The presence of the conductor betrays the very concept of mob.
Brilliant performance, G/Verdi's fantastic score music here always reminds me of my experience being an Opera "super" extra twice over the years, starting my appreciation of opera at HOT in Hawai'i and this especially meaningfully at LOC in Chicago years later! Bravo!!!
