Hey, great video , keep it up. I've got an FX504 with Intel Optane Memory 16g SSD installed. I want to remove and replace with a 1tb SSD, but when I do I get blue screen, but windows is installed on other SSD, any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Is the enclosure case required for cloning hdd to nvme? or can I just install the nvme inside the laptop and clone it, then format the hdd after cloning?
Hi can I Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD 1tb? my laptop is fx504GD i5-8300H and can i use nvme as storage for playing games? or can i install windows there and the game too?
Hey, I absolutely loved it❤️❤️ I own the same device with 128GB NVME SSD and 1 TB SATA HDD. I now want to upgrade NVME to 1TB. Will WD SN850 1TB, PCIe Gen 4 SSD will be a good choice? Will I be able to use it to its max potential?
No, Windows will only throw a fit when you change motherboards, as the key is bound directly to them after registry. When the hardware IDs dont match it will de-register the key. However: If you simply clone to another hard drive/solid state you will *NOT* encounter this issue, your windows activation will remain just fine. Its only if the motherboard changes do you run into this issue
Hi, yes if you do a clean install of Windows, you will have to reinstall all Apps and Games. Make sure you backup your data in your user account first, if you do this.
real words of wisdom and very enjoyable video watching over ya shoulder on this, love to see more details on this model and maxing out the specs!
I was unable to boot my laptop and after watching this video it worked! I was almost crying thank you so much!

I'm going to replace the m2 NVME with Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB and take out the HDD. Figured it could boost the performance.
It sure will!!
@@CadillacComputerCenter Also, thanks to this video. I succesfully swapped the m2 NVME drive with the help of my dad :) Great work on the tutorial!

You can use it. But gen4 pci-e is not available on this model. Very few laptops are gen4 yet. If the sn750 is cheaper, just go with that.
Do all the 2.5 SSD SATA fits in the place of the HDD?
Yes, that is correct.
Hey dale I have ah external harddrive but thinking to put in internal in my aspire 5 wat would work faster .?
Hi. Is it an ssd?
@@CadillacComputerCenter yes
Xmp enabled?
Hi, this model does not have memory profiles in bios.
Any problem with Digital License Windows when we clone disk? Thanks
