Dragon's Dogma 2 is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom. A sequel to Dragon's Dogma (2012), the game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 22, 2024. Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay, is an action role-playing game played from a third-person perspective. In the game, the player takes on the role of a character called the "Arisen", a hero marked by a dragon who they must defeat, all while exploring the world they live in, taking on quests, and fighting monsters, in the process being caught up in a geopolitical conflict between two kingdoms. Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay, To assist in this, the Arisen relies on allies called "Pawns", non-playable characters who join the player's party - these characters are AI-controlled, but function like player-controlled avatars, able to assist in fights, provide information on enemies, and give guidance to currently active quests. Players can each create and customize their avatar and their own Pawn character with different genders, appearances, and race. In addition, players can recruit two additional Pawns that have been created by other players. Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay, Both the Arisen and Pawns each operate under a "vocation" - a class that defines what abilities and equipment they can use in combat, with different strengths and weaknesses. Vocations are split between basic, advanced and hybrid, the latter only accessible to the Arisen; furthermore, only the Arisen and their Pawn can change vocations. Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay, The game features several different vocations to choose from - several from Dragon's Dogma make a return in the sequel, whilst Strider and Ranger have been changed to Thief and Archer respectively. It's nice that the archer has a quiver so many games have a toon that uses a bow and they pull arrows out of the air. Really kills the connection to the class fantasy imo

maybe stupid question, I haven't played DD yet. Can you level up different vacations during one playthrough? Can I just grind and farm XP?
YEP .
In the first game you actually can level all vocations and can get permanent skill buffs doing so, though you have to pick and choose. Also it's how you level up more skills. E.g playing assassin lets you get stamina faster then leveling just fighter. iF I remember correctly

You can switch between any vocation on the same playthrough
You can change classes when you want in the same playthroug but... The thing is... Your class determine the atribute points when you level up... So... If youre a warrior is not recomended to change to a mage for example...

you can only control main character
You play as the arisen, the one who's destiny is to fight the dragon who stole your heart, the pawns just join you, however every pawn you see is someone else's own creation like they will recruit the pawn you make to join your journey as well to give you items and experience for your pawn, you could stop playing for a week then all the sudden your pawn knows every quest you're going on. It's a pretty cool system

It's a single player game where you play with NPCs one of which your create and raise to learn things the npc you raise is shared over the Internet and vice versa but it's strictly single player despite that multiplayer concept hope this helps

I’m on the same fence. I preordered this, but the more I see of Ronin, it’s tough. I’m not a fan of Japanese games, but the combat and story looks awesome. Never played Dragons Dogma, but it looks great, just concerning. I’m hoping a demo comes out where I am able to see if it’s a good game, and if not, I’m hoping Sony allows cancellation of a preorder

Come On, That Is Series, That Mustn't Be Absolutely New Game Especially For Sequels. If That Be 3-6 Game Of Series( Like Dark Souls Series) That Haven't Any Tangible Changes That Position Will Be Absolutely Right.
