You have gorgeous hair! I am just so sorry about your flare-ups. I have followed about 3 of your journeys and I understood why you abandoned ship. I pray this new journey lasts longer than you can ever imagine. And just to let you know, you are one of the channels that came up when I was indecisive about starting my loc journey. You ARE an inspiration!...whichever way you choose to look at it. I wish you the best Sugar Foot. 🥰
You have no idea what this comment did for me just now. It was like eating a little mario mushroom for a boost of confidence. Thank you so much sugarfoot
Heyyyy Brittany! I am currently on month 3 of my loc journey and I am loving where I am as well. Your hair looks amazing🔥 🤩. I can't wait for mine to get longer too. It's crazy the similarities that we have regarding our hair, bc I also plan to comb mine out once I reach a certain length to wear my loose natural hair. Good luck on your journey and I will continue to watch as your hair changes along the way. ❤🥰
Love the locs! Would you recommend locs for avid swimmers? I don’t mind not swimming for them to fully loc but my wanted to see if this journey is possible to have locs and swim regularly
@ as long as you shampoo and condition with hydrating products you’ll be fine. There may be some unraveling at first but don’t let it discourage you, just twist it back up.
@@2joie thank you sugarfoot. I have no plans to cut my hair at all. The two year mark is for me to comb them out and start over. But who knows how I might feel in two years, might not want to comb them out

@@blackfluxx absolutely, water is your best friend when starting locs.
@ chlorine pools is what I swim in, but I always wash and detangling my hair after. But I’m going to go for it!
