Thanks for the tutorial, mod works perfectly and I even added some extras to speed up my progression. BUT... Just want to remind people: Forsty will not close itself like normal app/program after you click the "X" in the upper-right corner. Instead, it will remain as a background process and will eat up your RAM like crazy (~850 MB per process on my PC.) I don't understand why Frosty does this, but to close it completely you need to kill the said background process using Task Manager, or anything you use to monitor your PC's performance/condition, otherwise Frosty will clog up your RAM real fast if you close & launch it repeatedly, thus lower your PC's performance. And before you ask: Every time you close Frosty, it will become a new background process instead of replacing the existing one, that's why I'm saying remember to clean it up after playing (OK now that sounds weird...)

Yes, you need to launch the game through Frosty every time to play with the mods. No, the mods won't apply if you launch the game through the EA app. There's a separate Unite Online, and it won't get you banned for using Unite. Confirmed!

You can get the mod files and the special version of Frosty Mod Manager (FMM) from the given links and start following the tutorial. To mod NFS Unbound, there is a specific version of FMM needed. Since I'm not sure which one you're using, it's best to use all the links provided in the video or the links available in the Unite Discord to mod the game.
@KR4YZEE I just installed the mod, but when i try to launch the game through the mod manager it wont open up, first it appears to run on steam, then closes and then ea play opens but the game isnt loading or anything. Am i doing something wrong? I play on Steam
@@theteuyable i found out that for some reason Unbound installs two times if you own it in steam, that's why it doesn't work. You should get a folder called Excalibur, that's the one you need to mod on. And always launch the game through the mod manager, not steam neither ea platform
anyone elses frost mod manager stopped working? said i was on an outdated and can download latest. since then just hasn’t worked at all. website was down so had to go to another to download the mod man. but now just gives error codes but never gives the “enter key” thing before just shows loads of erros then have to close it. any fix? cuz im at a loss
Since the Unbound Vol 7 update came to live, this mod won't work until the Unite dev's update the mod files. So until then I suggest you not to mod the game as it will give you lots of errors.

nfsmods.xyz/mod/5423 Download the latest version from here. You will get a zip file. Inside that zip file there is a txt file. Open it, you will find a google drive link. Thats the place you need to download mod files
Every time I click scan for games Nfs unbound does not show up so I go to the directory and click on unbound and it says "There was an error when trying to load game using specified profile" What do I do?
I'm currently working with the Unite team as a tester, and the devs are in the process of sorting out some bugs. It feels like the release may happen within 1 to 2 weeks.
If it's stuck on "Creating SDK," try this: play the game and return to the garage while the SDK is being created. This should help complete the process.

The final release for the vol 8 is still on testing phase. It's not released yet. Wait for the Unite 1.2 to release

Yes, you need to launch the game through Frosty every time to play with the mods.
No, the mods won't apply if you launch the game through the EA app.

Try to close and open again the app. This is the way I solved it.

For now don't try to mod NFS unbound. But for the Heat, you can do the modding.
