Got one myself and can’t believe how good it is. As someone who has far too many rackets, this is the first one I’ll be getting a second to pair for competitions.
This is genuinely one of the weirdest, goes against everything I’ve ever liked or played with racquets I’ve ever used. And it is amazing. I’ve felt aspects of my game were really good with other racquets, but this does everything so incredibly well.

That's ironic because I had the opposite experience: it's got the perfect specs for me, but doesn't quite work. I bought mine from someone who said the same thing, and ended up selling to someone who's probably going to say the same thing. It was great when I did everything precisely right--and I do mean precisely--but it was extremely unforgiving compared even to the not-so-friendly Pro Staff 97, and was just OK on serves. That said, everything Beckett said about it was correct--it's a well made racket that I expect is nirvana for the player that gels with it.

I did find the correct specs for me, and yep, they are totally different from this racket. It turns out that I play best with a 27.5 inch racket with a low static tip weight and measured swing weight around 335 (which would mean 315 if it were 27.0 inches). So my failure to gel with this racket isn't surprising and it's definitely me, not the racket.
There hasn’t been a racquet that I liked this much for many years. The last one I remember being the 2010 Head Prestige Pro. Something about the combination of the thin frame + head heavy balance does it for me. Also while the new grip shape seem disliked by some people, I find it perfect for my tiny little hands.

Tbh its unlikely I'll look at this one. Too many other hot releases right now to go back an visit a relatively unpopular line of racquets. I really enjoyed the last generation Prestige Pro (same mold I think). Amazing spin and plowthrough.
Thanks for review. Couldn’t agree more about Tecnifibre grip shape. Rectangular shape may have become more pronounced with latest generations. I play with TF40 and was able sort out my 2019 versions with changing base grip to Wilson Feather Thin. Recently picked up the 2022 version but the above customisation didn’t help. Ended up applying overgrip directly onto pallett. Much better.
Not sure if you've seen, but AC Tennis is considering shaving the foam down and adding head grip pallets or doing a custom 3D print to get things rounder. I bugged him about it the other day and I think he needs more viewers to "encourage" him to find us all a solution haha

Totally agree about the the grip shape but I just add another extra go around with the overgrip on the bottom and it's ready to go. On my two hander, I found that I could get the running backhands better with this racquet than my previous stick, the Dunlop CX 300 tour. I play with a stock spec racquet except for leather grip in the handle and I did not like the racquet on volleys and dropshots until I switched my strings to Technifibre Razor Code (blue) string. Then the racquet showed me what it could really do for feel shots. I'm going to try Razor soft next. Overall, this racquet symbolizes a significant technological advancement in racquet design and complements the strings used in today's modern game.
Love this stick been using it since it came out. Solid everywhere on the court for me except serves. I had to add 3g of lead at 10 and 2 to get that going for me. I have it strung woth M8 in the mains at 49lbs and yonex tour fire in the crosses at 53. Its a very creative racquet for the right person
@TennCom i really like the 4 lb difference. But its different with the M8 since its so low powered. But i really dig a cross thats round and slick at a tighter tension so the looser main can really get some movement for the snap back. The Yonex tour Fire is the perfect cross for a poly. I go between a couple string for mains, M8, toroline wasabi are the 2 i like the most. Try it out. Also wilson revolve works a goo slick cross as well.
I will try it out. It’s almost like a natural gut hybrid replication the way that you have it set up. Very interesting since typically I see poly hybrid set ups with loose crosses and tight mains, but given M8s tension performance, I think this makes a LOT of sense
I love the way you explain racquet technology and specs. Can you do a video on how affects of different launch angles on a persons swing? How a person adjusts and how it changes the swing path if at all? I've been wondering if my Pure Aero 2019's launch angle is causing me to hit too high over the net. I mean, I'm 99% sure it's my 3.0 technique, but I wonder about that last 1%. Anyways, love your videos.
Thanks M W! Yes, I think that's a great idea. I'll see if I can get a ball machine out on court and do some initial diagnostics on my own swing first to see if I can generate any empirical evidence.
I think this is a more intuitive answer but my thinking goes that the launch angle is primarily determined by the string pattern, or more specifically the spacing between the main strings that are located in the sweet spot. The other big factor would be the type of string used. I would think that as you go more dense in string pattern, the lower the launch angle. Same thing with strings, the less spin-friendly the string, the lower the launch angle.
You illustrated the twist weight measurement with the wrong machine setup: the rotation axis to measure twist weight should be along the racket’s symmetry axis (the only one, along the racket length).
you are correct. When I made this video, the only way I could get a twistweight measurement by estimating it: (spinweight) - (swingweight). This gets close but isn't exact. Now I has a twistweight adapter for my Briffidi so all measurements are pure.
How would you compare this to the gravity pro? Seems like both are attacking racquets with high SW, stability, plow, and dense string patterns. Is the gpro more sluggish?
GPro is slower through the air, but the recoil weight is higher and I prefer it on backhands and returns by a lot. I think it also feels more connected. The ISO is a bit muted for me. ISO has more power though.
Yeah I tried a few setups and the best one was definitely Grapplesnake Tour M8 at 44lbs. I like these sticks around 45lbs, but I might go with something a little more shaped than M8 if I did it again to help with grip on the ball. Something like Tour Bite Rough mains and Sync crosses would be really nice, good blend of control and spin, adding ball bite without introducing launchiness.
How do you compare this with the new Prestige MP L and the Prostaff V13 315gr. I have been considering to switch the racket to something lighter to win speed, but I do not want to lose control.
I enjoyed mine most with Grapplesnake Tour M8, though I recently tried it will ReString Zero in the crosses and it really helps lift the ball up, something I struggled with in this racquet

Welcome to the High Swingweight Club, Beckett. You’re right: one needs higher swing speeds to take advantage of a beefy 338 kg x cm². I’d only add that doing this is about learning how to accelerate the frame versus doing what so many of us do, which is to ‘muscle’ the ball, a bad habit encouraged by today’s lighter racquets. Try muscling a 338 and you’ll end up with arm fatigue in a trice. No, higher SWs are for teaching advanced players the incredible effortlessness of the heavy ball.

I’m used to high SW, my ETs are modified in the same range, just not used to high SW and high TW. I think before I was using high SW as a substitute for body weight transfer which is not ideal.
thoughts on this vs whiteout 18x20? and how about reducing the swingweight on this by dropping the balance towards the handle more, more weight, its not that heavy stock - not like the 315. would that make the racket too different for what it's meant?
Adding weight to then handle would just lower the balance point, so you'd still have the hefty swingweight to deal with. Assuming everything is on-spec you can expect like a 10SW difference between the two racquets, which is a lot, but especially as we get towards 340 strung. Beyond that, the main differences are grip shape (WO is normal, ISO is rectangular) which is a deal breaker for some, me included, and the Whiteout is ever so slightly more raw and less muted than the TFIGHT, but the TFIGHT have better stability and power.
It’s quite a bit more forgiving than the Extreme Tour for my game. The SW isn’t an issue and the off-centre is way better. The Extreme has nothing off-centre.
I think things would be pretty close. The swingweight on the 305 is quite a bit higher. I think swingweight is the number one driver of power, however, the 16x19 and higher stiffness on the 315 might make it feel more forgiving.
@@TennCom I switched to the new ISO 315 after having the ISO 305 for the past year. The 315 fixes many of the mobility limited shots I hit like tight backhands. My server also became more potent on the ISO 315.
going with thinner strings would help for sure but adding a leather grip wouldn't do much. Usually leather is heavier so you actually risk increasing the SW, but it would only be by a fraction of a kgcm^2
I faced the same problem with my forehand as I'm switching to 315 RS due to the grip shape. Do you have any suggestions? I have a semi-western grip, maybe a little towards eastern. Thanks!
I personally gave up on the racquet. Part of it is due to the grip shape. You can sand down the grip and then replace the buttcap with another manufacturer's. You should be able to buy spare buttcaps from most major retailers. Just make sure to count your passes to make sure each side is sanded down the right amount.
Ok, Beckett- so while I love this racquet, I think it might be causing me to have tennis elbow and shoulder issues due to the head heaviness and huge swingweight (despite adding 10-12 grams in the handle), and I'm thinking I may have to abandon my sweet sweet Tfight. Can you tell me if you think this is prudent?
I'm not too surprised. I always thought the TFIGHTs played stiffer than their RA's indicated. Its too bad TF doesn't let you get the 18x19 in any other weights.
This racquet seems so good, but I can’t demo it in my area. I was wondering is the hl balance too low to quickly maneuver it for fast paced doubles volley.

The TFIGHT feels like what the Blades used to feel like before they dropped the stiffness. Control isn't as good, but the power and stability are way higher on the TFIGHT
Can you help me? Im playing with a babolat pure drive 300 2018 and now i`m feeling some pain on my wrist when i play. I already tried the new tfight 305 and when i play with that racket i feel like my wrist is with much less pain and more comfortable. Is it a good option to trade it for the new tfight 305?
i have a doubt, am started playing tennis last year. i have used prostaff precession 100 sq inch with3 8/4 grip size. as i had tendonitis in finger, i was advised to go for smaller grip size. so am looking for a different racket. should i go for TF iso 295 or T fight rs 295... and i have been trying 98sq inch racket also, so can i opt for iso 305 or rs 305?

Μy comment dissapeared so i ll try again.Its in my bag the last 3 months.I use it more against heavy hitters.It gives me the stability and i can force them back so i m in the game right away.I play on clay so babolay aero and now extreme mp gives me the benefit of easy returns.But iso 305 always give me the confidence i need.I ve strung it moslty with msv co focus 1,18 mains and l.element 1,25 crosses.I ve tried hyper g soft 1,25 (too underpowered) and lynx tour 1,25 that struggles the dense frame with its thikness.So i m thinking of full bed of emement in 23kg now.Any suggestions for stringing (exept grapplsnake witch is rare in europe)?
@@TennCom i tried (new) aero at 24kg full bed which was good then 24/23 i had no control and now in 24,5 kg and i might go to 25kg as it is a really soft frame! in extreme i play with 24/23 but i might go a kilo up with lynx tour or stay in 24/23 in full bed of element cause i know element does not perform well in high kilos.So i might go to 23 kg full bed of element in iso 305.I played for a year with tecnifibre T fight 305 XTC and after many set ups best kilos where 22,5.Do yoy think iso performs better in low ?
@@zxbillfo Yeah I really like the ISO in lower tension. I would recommend you try 22kg with a normal string, probably more like 23kg with element. I liked my ISO at 20kg (44lbs) but that was with M8 which performs excellently at low tensions and in the 1.30mm gauge. I actually think Lynx Tour would probably work well down around 20kg too.

The 300 is for the every day playe and is fast and whippyr. Even Swiatek is using it. lol. The 305 is a beast to swing and you better be young or a 5.0+ or you will be wasting your money imho.
@@TennCom True.Yeah, with a leather grip one of mine is 334. They prob threw some lead on the hoop to counteract it which got them to 345. Still though, the 305 is a more beastly racquet, both with the extra 5g static but more so the head heaviness. I can use the 300 with a one handed backhand, the 305 would have me in for shoulder surgery. lol Review the 300, its the people's T-Fight!
@@TennCom Love the open 16x19 and dampening. It feels as soft as the Clash but more powerful. In fact I think it's the company's most powerful racquet. I'm 61 and don't move around nearly as much as I used to but from the baseline this is a sawed-off shotgun with a high launch angle. They were sold out in most shops in the USA for a while but maybe they're in stock now.

I feel the racquet to go for the majority is the T fight RS 300, lower lower swing weight and less weight for higher swing speed.

How do you like the tension differentials? Do you do this will all poly's or just M8? Really interesting setup.

This is, without a doubt, one of the fastest feeling high SW racquets out there. I'd say it feels more like something around 330, rather than 338.

I think things would be pretty close. The swingweight on the 305 is quite a bit higher. I think swingweight is the number one driver of power, however, the 16x19 and higher stiffness on the 315 might make it feel more forgiving.
@@TennCom I switched to the new ISO 315 after having the ISO 305 for the past year. The 315 fixes many of the mobility limited shots I hit like tight backhands. My server also became more potent on the ISO 315.

Can’t you reduce sw a bit by adding leather grip and going with 17 thinner gauge strings?
going with thinner strings would help for sure but adding a leather grip wouldn't do much. Usually leather is heavier so you actually risk increasing the SW, but it would only be by a fraction of a kgcm^2
I faced the same problem with my forehand as I'm switching to 315 RS due to the grip shape. Do you have any suggestions? I have a semi-western grip, maybe a little towards eastern. Thanks!
I personally gave up on the racquet. Part of it is due to the grip shape. You can sand down the grip and then replace the buttcap with another manufacturer's. You should be able to buy spare buttcaps from most major retailers. Just make sure to count your passes to make sure each side is sanded down the right amount.
Ok, Beckett- so while I love this racquet, I think it might be causing me to have tennis elbow and shoulder issues due to the head heaviness and huge swingweight (despite adding 10-12 grams in the handle), and I'm thinking I may have to abandon my sweet sweet Tfight. Can you tell me if you think this is prudent?
I'm not too surprised. I always thought the TFIGHTs played stiffer than their RA's indicated. Its too bad TF doesn't let you get the 18x19 in any other weights.

This racquet seems so good, but I can’t demo it in my area. I was wondering is the hl balance too low to quickly maneuver it for fast paced doubles volley.

The TFIGHT feels like what the Blades used to feel like before they dropped the stiffness. Control isn't as good, but the power and stability are way higher on the TFIGHT

Can you help me? Im playing with a babolat pure drive 300 2018 and now i`m feeling some pain on my wrist when i play. I already tried the new tfight 305 and when i play with that racket i feel like my wrist is with much less pain and more comfortable. Is it a good option to trade it for the new tfight 305?
Have you restrung your Pure Drive recently? Could just be old strings.

There is only 1 con for this racquet. The string patern make the strings die too fast.
i have a doubt, am started playing tennis last year. i have used prostaff precession 100 sq inch with3 8/4 grip size. as i had tendonitis in finger, i was advised to go for smaller grip size. so am looking for a different racket. should i go for TF iso 295 or T fight rs 295... and i have been trying 98sq inch racket also, so can i opt for iso 305 or rs 305?
I would go for the 295. If you can get a good price on the RS, its better to save the money as a beginner.

@@sudharshan91 stick with the 295. The 305 is for very advanced users, high swingweight and tight pattern make it tough to use for even intermediate players.

Μy comment dissapeared so i ll try again.Its in my bag the last 3 months.I use it more against heavy hitters.It gives me the stability and i can force them back so i m in the game right away.I play on clay so babolay aero and now extreme mp gives me the benefit of easy returns.But iso 305 always give me the confidence i need.I ve strung it moslty with msv co focus 1,18 mains and l.element 1,25 crosses.I ve tried hyper g soft 1,25 (too underpowered) and lynx tour 1,25 that struggles the dense frame with its thikness.So i m thinking of full bed of emement in 23kg now.Any suggestions for stringing (exept grapplsnake witch is rare in europe)?
What tension are you at? Have you tried dropping the tension about 20% Vs your Aero/Extreme?
@@TennCom i tried (new) aero at 24kg full bed which was good then 24/23 i had no control and now in 24,5 kg and i might go to 25kg as it is a really soft frame! in extreme i play with 24/23 but i might go a kilo up with lynx tour or stay in 24/23 in full bed of element cause i know element does not perform well in high kilos.So i might go to 23 kg full bed of element in iso 305.I played for a year with tecnifibre T fight 305 XTC and after many set ups best kilos where 22,5.Do yoy think iso performs better in low ?
@@zxbillfo Yeah I really like the ISO in lower tension. I would recommend you try 22kg with a normal string, probably more like 23kg with element. I liked my ISO at 20kg (44lbs) but that was with M8 which performs excellently at low tensions and in the 1.30mm gauge. I actually think Lynx Tour would probably work well down around 20kg too.

I demoed this with high hopes, and was disappointed. It just felt so hollow. Like hitting the ball with an aluminum can. Ended up going with the solinco whiteout 18x20.
The 300 is for the every day playe and is fast and whippyr. Even Swiatek is using it. lol. The 305 is a beast to swing and you better be young or a 5.0+ or you will be wasting your money imho.
Did you check out TF's release video for Iga switching? You can see them measuring her sticks in the background and they had like a 345 swingweight.
@@TennCom True.Yeah, with a leather grip one of mine is 334. They prob threw some lead on the hoop to counteract it which got them to 345. Still though, the 305 is a more beastly racquet, both with the extra 5g static but more so the head heaviness. I can use the 300 with a one handed backhand, the 305 would have me in for shoulder surgery. lol Review the 300, its the people's T-Fight!

I had a brief relationship with this model but once I cheated on it with TF-X1, the divorce soon followed. Nonetheless, a great choice for many.

@@TennCom Love the open 16x19 and dampening. It feels as soft as the Clash but more powerful. In fact I think it's the company's most powerful racquet. I'm 61 and don't move around nearly as much as I used to but from the baseline this is a sawed-off shotgun with a high launch angle. They were sold out in most shops in the USA for a while but maybe they're in stock now.

I tried Tour Sniper (52lbs) and Tour M8 (44lbs) and preferred the Tour M8
