Cool test bench! If you wanna upgrade your power supply on the cheap check out Dell server power supplies you can get 70-105amp 12v models for around $30-$60 on eBay and they’re easily modible for what we do.

hey there, is there any update videos to this? been meaning to ask about mains voltage to dc power supplies . I have noticed lots of videos of car systems on trailers or set up outside of a car, even a pile on the street sometimes haha... they sort of use it like a pro audio party rental and seem to just use large output power supplies with all car audio amps
its a weird rabbit hole kind of culture shock often seems like foreign countries, yet to find one English speaking but the systems they make are outrageous and seem to have lots of money put into it, I'm not even sure what one would look up to find such systems haha its a odd mix of the DJ and car audio scene

So I have a question for you.. The set up u have is what im building.. minus im using a hc2400 kinetic.. Deep cell agm.. Ok so with this power supply.. Does the power supply turn off when the battery is fully charged.. When not testing.. Or does it stay on constantly..?? Just thought I get your input..

Always stays on.. now the settings inside the power supply work like this... when voltage is needed to be reached it will charge up to the amperage you set 0-10 - just as you would voltage... if you aren’t using it keep it set at 13.3 v and only 1A

So that thing will constantly run?? So is it better to get a battery charger/maintainer.. ?? I mean I ever thought about useing a Stanley jump box.. It has a hell of a battery in it.. It can draw up to 1000 amps on it.. But.. Of course I wont do that..

It will technically work but to charge a battery a smart charger is better
For small 12v tests that’s perfect
