- We went to Tahiti over Christmas this year. So in case any of you have traveling to Tahiti, Moorea or Bora Bora on your Travel Bucket List, I wanted to put together a video that shares 19 MUST KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Travel Tips to Tahiti! Plus, I'm sharing an Overwater Bungalow Tour with you guys so you can see what they are like before you start planning your dream vacation!
This is actually our second time going to Tahiti and we loved the Hilton Moorea! (NOT SPONSORED, btw) I wanted to make sure you guys knew all of the amazing ways we saved money on this family vacation. Because even though it is a more expensive trip overall- there are ALWAYS ways to save and make a vacation cheaper! (Even in Tahiti!)

Get an airline affiliated credit card. Use it to pay all of your expenses. Pay it off at the end of the month to avoid getting hit with interest. Do this for a year then use the points to book the flight.

Great tips! I had no idea about the great kids fly free/eat free deals!! We stayed without our kids at the moorea Hilton and LOVED it too! You should add in the trip to Bora Bora next time! Highly recommend staying at the Four Seasons when they have the fourth night free deal- it's totally worth it!

Is there an “off season” that’s offers more affordable lodging? Do you think it’s cheaper to find domestic tickets to LA and search for another flight out of La versus coming all the way from the Midwest?

Great tips I love this, but..I got confused bc you were talking about Morea and then all sudden you are in Tahiti. So I had to do a little research to find out what you were talking about.
Did you stay in the overwater bungalow most nights and then stay in the regular bungalow when you were waiting for your flight home? Or did you do that to save money? Sorry it was a little confusing!

So our territory is called French Polynesia. The main island is Tahiti, and the capital city is Papeete. Other than that, great video ! Thank you for sharing your point of view !

I LOVE my kids and I wanted to know your thoughts on if you wished it was just you and the husband for this kind of bucket list adventure or are you happy they came?
Great video and very helpful tips. If you guys like tropical destinations, i would highly recommend Samoa. Much cheaper than Tahiti, just as nice but lots more to do adventure wise. Great for families, very safe and friendly. American dollar is almost tripled there and food is crazy cheap. You'll get a much richer cultural experience there as much of the land is unspoiled. We put up a few videos on our channel from our trip last year if you want to check it out. Still have more videos from the same trip to edit though.
Hi. Great video! I am wondering how you were able to book one of Hilton Moorea's overwater bungalows for 4 occupants? Similar to you, I have 2 small children (6 & 8). I called the resort direct to book a reservation and they said they only allow 3 occupants in the overwater bungalows. Thank you!
