It depends. There are people who treat fast food like just an occasional treat. When you want a taste but don't want to overdo it often. I go twice a month to a fast food joint but still watch my calories.
I ate at a buffet on vacation with my brother’s friend and he ate a plate of bacon piled really high, about the size of his head. I was so horrified but impressed at the same time. He’s a really skinny boy too lol.
I work at Burger King and I will say that everything they said about the big fish is completely untrue(at least at my place). Our fish is fresh because we only make it when the costumer orders it because it’s such a waste of money to the restaurant to have fish on level if no one orders it. On a regular basis, we have only like 1-3 people who order fish, so it’s pointless for us to have it on level.

The fish one can be true or false dependent on what restaurant you go to. When I worked at mine we only made the fish to order because it could be days before someone ordered it or just many hours. Theres buttons that time how long theyre in a heater you can reset it and keep something in there infinitely if you wanted however. We know some things fo past the buttons for a while and are good and others need to be thrown out immediately cause you can look at it and just know immediately like the meat patties. They dry out if left too long. If you wouldnt eat it why give it to a customer was my thought and then it was thrown away.

I worked at burger king when I was 16 in 1980. I thought the best sandwich was the whopper with cheese made all the way and the oval fried chicken sandwich. Free soda in the 100+ degree kitchen. Yes, the burgers that sat in a warming unit were microwaved for 30 seconds to warm them up. At least we washed our hands a lot. I was I in charge of cleaning the grill. And the floors. I worked hard for 2.90 an hour...
That was a lot of money, in 1973 I was a cashier at 7/11 making $ 2.10 an hour. If it weren't for working a 75 hour week, I never would have made anything. Of course my apartment rent was 165.00 a month.
I worked at BK after graduating highschool and actually had the great honor to meet Burger King in person. He didn't talk and had a strange look (plastic face). Kinda creepy if you ask me. Didn't fool anyone. That made all of us laugh. It was a fun place to work.

The whopper jr. meat is the EXACT same patty and bun as the cheeseburgers. Whoever wrote that they arent sold enough is on crack because BK sells tons of $1 cheeseburgers. Btw, to save money, order a cheeseburger and tell them to add Mayo (no mustard), lettuce, pickles, tomato and onions. You will get the EXACT same sandwhich as the Whopper Jr., but save half the cost. The only difference is the wrapper will show a different name. Also, to save money on our French toast sticks, order two of the $1 3 pieces, instead if the 5 peice option which costs more than $2. The fish one is true I can confirm that. But at my burger king when I'm on shift I make my staff cook everything to order. It takes 3 mins to cook a big fish and they can only be left in the warmer for 30 mins. And ive come in to find the same fish that was their when I left at lunch and come back to close.

I have had a long history with BK. It was one of my first jobs when I was in high school about 40yrs ago.There were lot of less choices then they offer today, but then the burgers were pretty freshly made close "to order." Then about a couple of years after college, I modeled on a print ad for what BK called "Chicken tenders" and we were told never to call them "McNuggets" in front of the clients. They actually tasted good. Then finally a few years after that, I acted in a TV commercial for BK. All I remember is the money I made on that one. Then about 2 weeks ago I went into BK for the first time in about 15 years (I'm vegetarian now) and ate an Impossible Burger It was delicious except not long after that I got the worst headache. Now I realize it was probably the sodium intake. Bye bye BK.... 🤔

I worked at a Burger King and despite the shitty managers and co workers, everything she said was BS. If the nuggets are cooked for the proper time and aren’t old, they are crispy and I’d say just as good as McDonald’s. The whopper jr is literally ordered just as much as the whopper, and the cheeseburgers use the same meat as the whopper jr so it’s literally never more than half an hour old. The fish sandwich is also bs as your only supposed to keep one or two in the warmer and we always toss them out after an hour. The grilled chicken sandwich sometimes gets dry if it’s been sitting in for a while so you just make a fresh one, but that does take a bit to cook.

I’ve literally had a team member touch the fries with bare heads and throw the other half back inside. The people they hire, they don’t even do background checks!! They start paying at 8$ and have you clean bathroom, and mop all floors. This place is for people who are washed up and drop outs. And trust me!! The food there is DISGUSTINGGG AND UNSANITARYYY. This applies to every Burger King. Absolutely nasty. Some cooks would use their bare hands to make the sandwich, and it’s is absolutely disgusting. No matter what you do, while you’re in the drive thru at burger king… you will NEVER know what goes on behind there. You will have to see it for yourself. It blows my mind that some people come in and order a triple … 3 MEAT patties.. sometimes 4… whopper. I felt like vomiting, idk why they sell this type of stuff. I used to buy their sausage and egg croissant years ago. Decided to try one here a few months ago and was not very happy the croissant is about half the size it used to be as I remember it.
What I dislike about Burger King is they nickel and dime you, charging extra for a slice of cheese. Every other fast food restaurant just includes it. So consequently, Burger King is usually towards the bottom of the the list if there's other places available.

I don't eat at Burger King anymore. I have a food allergy (tomatoes) and the last few times I went my order was messed up.... At least 6 different visits my order contained tomatoes, even after I told them my allergy was not to be taken lightly. The last time my order was wrong 4 times at one meal setting and the final sandwich they gave me had tomato residue hidden on the bun (like they realised and scraped it off the sandwich) discovered after one bite... I had a reaction and had to leave.🙁

JUST ASK FOR YOUR FOOD TO BE FRESHLY MADE. I've managed a handful of restaurants and that's literally all you have to do to get hot fresh food every time. People don't want to wait for fresh food, and expect their food to be hot, fresh, and to have it in 1.5 minutes. Doesn't work that way, people.

The whopper jr. meat is the EXACT same patty and bun as the cheeseburgers. Whoever wrote that they arent sold enough is on crack because BK sells tons of $1 cheeseburgers.
Btw, to save money, order a cheeseburger and tell them to add Mayo (no mustard), lettuce, pickles, tomato and onions. You will get the EXACT same sandwhich as the Whopper Jr., but save half the cost. The only difference is the wrapper will show a different name.
Also, to save money on our French toast sticks, order two of the $1 3 pieces, instead if the 5 peice option which costs more than $2. You will get an extra French toast stick and save a few cents

The fish one is true I can confirm that. But at my burger king when I'm on shift I make my staff cook everything to order. It takes 3 mins to cook a big fish and they can only be left in the warmer for 30 mins. And ive come in to find the same fish that was their when I left at lunch and come back to close.

I have had a long history with BK. It was one of my first jobs when I was in high school about 40yrs ago.There were lot of less choices then they offer today, but then the burgers were pretty freshly made close "to order." Then about a couple of years after college, I modeled on a print ad for what BK called "Chicken tenders" and we were told never to call them "McNuggets" in front of the clients. They actually tasted good. Then finally a few years after that, I acted in a TV commercial for BK. All I remember is the money I made on that one. Then about 2 weeks ago I went into BK for the first time in about 15 years (I'm vegetarian now) and ate an Impossible Burger It was delicious except not long after that I got the worst headache. Now I realize it was probably the sodium intake. Bye bye BK.... 🤔

Calorie counts are not a justifiable reason to not order something. Sometimes you need lots of calories.
Anything fried there needs to be eaten when lunch starts. After 2pm, run. They hold their chicken and fish to keep their waste count down per shift. The stores get graded on how much food gets thrown out.

I worked at a Burger King and despite the shitty managers and co workers, everything she said was BS. If the nuggets are cooked for the proper time and aren’t old, they are crispy and I’d say just as good as McDonald’s. The whopper jr is literally ordered just as much as the whopper, and the cheeseburgers use the same meat as the whopper jr so it’s literally never more than half an hour old. The fish sandwich is also bs as your only supposed to keep one or two in the warmer and we always toss them out after an hour. The grilled chicken sandwich sometimes gets dry if it’s been sitting in for a while so you just make a fresh one, but that does take a bit to cook.

I’ve worked for BK years ago, First of all, the food DOES, YES IT DOES, sit in a warmer, and IT IS NOT COOKED TO ORDER. IT IS NOT. I’ve literally had a team member touch the fries with bare heads and throw the other half back inside. The people they hire, they don’t even do background checks!!
They start paying at 8$ and have you clean bathroom, and mop all floors. This place is for people who are washed up and drop outs. And trust me!! The food there is DISGUSTINGGG AND UNSANITARYYY. This applies to every Burger King. Absolutely nasty. Some cooks would use their bare hands to make the sandwich, and it’s is absolutely disgusting. No matter what you do, while you’re in the drive thru at burger king… you will NEVER know what goes on behind there. You will have to see it for yourself.

I work at burger king and the whooppers Jr's do not sit for hours. We use them for all the little burger such as cheese burgers, hamburgers, and bacon cheeseburger and so on

I used to buy their sausage and egg croissant years ago. Decided to try one here a few months ago and was not very happy the croissant is about half the size it used to be as I remember it.
What I dislike about Burger King is they nickel and dime you, charging extra for a slice of cheese. Every other fast food restaurant just includes it. So consequently, Burger King is usually towards the bottom of the the list if there's other places available.

I don't eat at Burger King anymore. I have a food allergy (tomatoes) and the last few times I went my order was messed up.... At least 6 different visits my order contained tomatoes, even after I told them my allergy was not to be taken lightly. The last time my order was wrong 4 times at one meal setting and the final sandwich they gave me had tomato residue hidden on the bun (like they realised and scraped it off the sandwich) discovered after one bite... I had a reaction and had to leave.🙁
