It’s our great pleasure to make tools for passionate brickys like you blokes! I remember coming across Charlie when he had about 2k subscribers and i could tell he was onto something, had a different viewpoint and way to solve problems on site. Has been terrific to see his channel grow and particularly his impact on the next gen of brickys. When you look through the comments you can see his work is appreciated by all. Great video Ash and next stock delivery I’ll sort you out!

@@derbybrickworklimited hi mate. Simon the owner of BT here. We are just a very small business (we employ 10 people!) having a crack trying to grow. Sometimes we get the freebies right, like Charlie, and sometimes we get them wrong and they aren’t as beneficial but we can only try. The main thing to keep in mind is that we only give them to people who like us are also having a crack and making some bricklaying content for us all to enjoy. So worst case scenario is that even if they don’t use them as much then it is just a token of our appreciation and a small payment for taking hours out of their day to make videos. Have a good one. Cheers

The support from the UK bricklaying community had been immense and it is no secret our machines couldn’t keep up. We have invested everything we have back into new machines which are now working and are doing our best to in trying times. We are still in lockdown in Sydney so please bare with us. Cheers

@@p.maesthetics7154 Hi mate - thanks for the kind words and glad you can see proper old school quality in our tools! The way the company started was BT - Bruce Thomas after world war 2 had a lot of mates that were Brickys and they kept asking him to make tools that would help them on site. His first tool was the raker and he built it up from there! This was many moons ago - back in the 60's!

Site work is very tough and not easy money as a lot of people think . £600 per thou sounds good till your looking for missing lintels , installing them , trays , guessing step trays with no template , waiting for scaffolding, scaffolding put too high or too low or in your way . The list goes on .
Hats off to all the boys who stick it out and make it pay .💪🏽🧱👍🏼

Completely disagree with 21 years not being able to be on site on there own at that age your hungry enough for the workload and if it isn’t rushed and there earning a steady wage why can’t they get bricklayers money? If you can read the drawings and make sure everything is right no reason 21 year old shouldn’t be starting there own gangs

Guys. My advice. I did plastering for 16 years. 🤮ucking shit. Work. Bricklayings a lot easier. Basically I did start making good money in it. But in the beginning I got mugged off like he did. Starting on shit money. Doing shit jobs. So your kind of not learning anything in the beginning. My advice is do something that is very high end. Examples. Actor. Stock market. Boxer. Not MMA cause moneys shit. Or maybe. Anything very high end. That’s sounds ridiculously out of your league 😂😂. I know it sounds crazy. Even if you don’t think your good enough. And is way out of your league. I guarantee if you study something that’s well out of your league. Stick with it. You might not be the best. But you’ll be good at it within 8 maybe 10 years max. And that’s the same time it would take you to do well in the building game. Or even shitty work you don’t wanna do. So do something that sounds like a fantasy or well out of your league. Cause like I said. If your not the best at it. You will still do very well if you stick with it. I guarantee you.
