I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?! This would be amazing video game music. I said in the comments of Banjo Bloodbath that it sounds like the Boss Music for someone or something called “Bubba The Terrible” or maybe “Cletus the Destroyer” in some kinda backwoods fantasy RPG, where your power up and health potions take the form of Moonshine
Hello Everyone, Thanks for tuning into Appalachian Anarchy! We appreciate all the feedback and love, but I want to address a few comments labeling our music as AI-generated. I'm the songwriter behind our tunes, very much human, and here to share our story. Appalachian Anarchy began as a recording project. When "Banjo Bloodbath" took off unexpectedly, we sped up releasing our music, which has been both thrilling and chaotic. Our goal shifted from a slow release to sharing our entire album, crafted over nine months, as quickly as possible due to your overwhelming support. Not all of us are keen on being internet personalities; our focus is the music. In the digital age, where fame is often sought after, it’s hard to believe, but some of us prefer staying out of the spotlight. For full transparency, I use a MIDI guitar for complex sections and other instruments whenever possible. As a classically trained guitarist who plays multiple instruments, I strive to capture the sounds in our heads, sometimes at odd hours next to a sleeping baby’s room, using both traditional and digital means. This mix allows us to create without the resources of a professional studio. We dream of doing this full-time someday, but for now, we balance our music with jobs and families. Thank you for being part of our journey, and I hope this clarifies our approach. We’d love to hear your thoughts and hope you continue enjoying our music! Cheers, Appalachian Anarchy
I am absolutely in love with your guys's sound!!! And I'm not even a fan of country music. This is the right way to combine country and rock. If it's not too much trouble could I possibly request permission to use your music in some Elden ring PvP videos? And yes I absolutely intend to give very obvious credit. If not that's fine but these songs go fucking hard.
As a fella who was traumatized listening to his Ironwood Hall of Fame Father practice Polka... I'm happy that this music is here for my Therapy!!! I blazed through all of your stuff man, FANTASTIC. Also... the names of your tracks are absolutely friggin hilarious. The phrase 'Shoot Faster, I HEAR BANJOES' comes to mind while playing shooter games, lol.
Friend of mine introduced me to these guys. I'm into metal.nonrap or country or hip hop or blue grass. I listened to this song and was blown away. Only my shoes were left where I'd been standing. BLOWN AWAY. like what?? Ya. Fan now. Rock on Appalachian anarchy. Loving this
@@AppalachianAnarchy my wife just said let me guess you're gna be listening to these guys for 2 months like you did with Lorna shore. Thought about it. And said...hell ya man. Lol. I've tried looking up some more "bluegrass metal" but only found ciconia. So far. Any suggestions?? Don't worry. The wife is right. I'll be rocking out to u guys and keep showing more ppl man. I didn't even know this type of music existed. I don't like the vocals for blue grass. There not screaming lol. But u guys don't even need to bother with a vocalist fr. Rock on and ty for the awesome music. And I think my shoes are home in West Michigan..but I ended up getting blown into the U.P. lol. 😜
I remember when I first heard "Myr" from Taake. While I'm not into black metal at all, I feel in love with the banjo solo in that song... thanks for rekindling that feeling with your songs! consider collaborating with any video game developers, your music combines hot pursuit (bluegrass) with boss battle (metal) music!
Loved everything about it, loved the energy, loved the pace change when the instruments fade out just past halfway, LOVED when the saxophone came in. Bravo! Encore! Also, let me know if y'all put any of your art/logo on some merch, I'd totally rock this on a shirt, hoodie, or something.
Ya know ive always thought if bluegrass got a little distortion on it, it would make fucking sweet metal. Turns out I was right. ONCE AGAIN! Nicely done.
@@AppalachianAnarchy I am an indie game developer, I'd love to use your music in a western setting someday. Is there any way I can contact you about it in the future? E-mail, Discord username, Steam username?
That's awesome! Yeah, the best way right now is just the facebook page - facebook.com/AppalachianAnarchy/ I don't check it everyday - but I'll see messages within a few days usually.
Metal and banjos +, about time. Found the band by accident. I'm hooked
SAME HERE ALREADY SENT TO our lead Guitarist who inherited a banjo from his uncle.
Same
This deserves to be in a video game as a boss theme. I have been jamming out to this while playing borderlands, and it's got me hype killing enemies
Dude same 😂 I'm playing bl2 right now haha

I need to thank the TH-cam algorithm for this. I never knew I needed metal banjo until now. It's masterful.

Been wanting this genre for years
At least twenty, and I cried tears of joy when I first discovered this magic
This is the sort of music you blast from huge speakers in the back of a jacked 4x4
A jacked up 4x4 Camero, my mom owned one 🤘
If the weather was good I would be sitting on the porch listening and having a cold one or two haha.

Living in the NE GA mountains, this might be my new favorite music project on all of youtube lol
You all should play up on Newfound Gap. Hearing this echo through the mountains would be epic!
