Hello Everyone, Thanks for tuning into Appalachian Anarchy! We appreciate all the feedback and love, but I want to address a few comments labeling our music as AI-generated. I'm the songwriter behind our tunes, very much human, and here to share our story. Appalachian Anarchy began as a recording project. When "Banjo Bloodbath" took off unexpectedly, we sped up releasing our music, which has been both thrilling and chaotic. Our goal shifted from a slow release to sharing our entire album, crafted over nine months, as quickly as possible due to your overwhelming support. Not all of us are keen on being internet personalities; our focus is the music. In the digital age, where fame is often sought after, it’s hard to believe, but some of us prefer staying out of the spotlight. For full transparency, I use a MIDI guitar for complex sections and other instruments whenever possible. As a classically trained guitarist who plays multiple instruments, I strive to capture the sounds in our heads, sometimes at odd hours next to a sleeping baby’s room, using both traditional and digital means. This mix allows us to create without the resources of a professional studio. We dream of doing this full-time someday, but for now, we balance our music with jobs and families. Thank you for being part of our journey, and I hope this clarifies our approach. We’d love to hear your thoughts and hope you continue enjoying our music! Cheers, Appalachian Anarchy
It Might possibly be cause of the artwork? If it’s ai it mightve labeled the whole thing as ai generated. It doesnt look it. But the flags for those things are weird
I don't believe the music was AI generated (I detected MIDI use, for sure, but to me, it sounds like human beings played most of the music and programmed the rest). However, if the album artwork looks AI generated, that could lead people to believe the music was too. I say this because a friend of mine (a musician as well as a visual artist) told me: "This sounds really cool, it's a shame the artist relies on AI for the cover art". I can't say for sure if the artwork is AI generated or not (it didn't look like that to me at first), but if it was, I'd consider commissioning an artist to design and create your album covers in the future (do keep the horror-themed vibe, though, that's supremely cool). In the current climate, many artists and enjoyers of art have a very strong negative reaction towards generative AI (myself included). It would be a shame if people chose to pass on this awesome music because the AI generated artwork turned them off.
@@EndSeaTea To be fair, I wouldn't have gotten that reference three years ago if it wasn't for a freaking song-fic. So he's not exactly wrong in asking that question.

hahaha, a movie using our music would be incredible! so... we're in talks now with a small tire sales shop in Texas that wants to use one of our songs in a commercial. Not AS cool as a movie... but gotta start somewhere! prolly not a bar-fight scene though, in the tire commercial - so that's a bummer
The year is 1936, Jellico Mountain, Tennessee. You’ve gotta run your moonshine down across the state line to Williamsburg, Kentucky. You know that the Tennessee and Kentucky State Troopers and the county sheriffs from both states will be on you in both directions. You are going to have to push your 1934 Ford Coupe to the limit.
Thank you for existing and making this absolutely devilish, amazing sound. You just became the soundtrack for my space pirates in my space D&D campaign. I'll make sure my players know exactly who you are when they eventually, inevitably ask me who the hell produced the absolute fire that serenades their combat scenes going forward.
I just discovered you guys last night with your song Kryptkeeper's Clawhammer when it popped up in my TH-cam feed. Then tonight, I saw on another one of your guys' songs pop up again, and I have been listening to you guy's non-stop. You guys are awesome and a really different sounding type of Metal Music. I really enjoy your guys music. I will definitely be listening to you guys a lot. Someday I hope too see you guys live.
I can't help but imagine this in a Western Bloodborne-like game where you can get invaded by other players. It's just a small few ideas in my head, but the scenario I keep thinking of: [Invader side] - Fire a Blood-red Bullet? (You will invade another Sheriff's town as a Desperado) - Yes - Invading another world... - Invaded world of [Player Name]. Shoot the sheriff, Desperado! [Sheriff's side] - A Blood-red Bullet sounds in the distance. - Desperado [Player Name] is here to raise hell. Get 'em, Sheriff! - Objective name: "This Town Ain't Big Enough" (Banjo Bloodbath starts playing) Again, it's just a concept in my head, but godDAMN would this track slam in that kind of scene!
I genuinely imagine a movie bar fight with this. I’d love to write a movie within the Appalachian mountains and have a whole sequence with an increasingly epic banjo metal soundtrack
This band NEEDS to work on a soundtrack for a show about cute characters having to endure the brutality of surviving in a forest after they got lost on a hiking trip
Shit sounds pretty sweet to me, would love to hear it with some vocals.....itd be pretty awesome if yiu ever collaborated with a band like electric callboy, both are ao unique, itd probably end up being a pretty epic creation. Anyways, keep up the good work and f**k the haters!!
Listen to Rainbow's 'A Light in the Dark' for inspiration. The breakdown with the synth at around 2:30 minutes is what led me to looking up 'bluegrass metal'. Its very frantic

Thanks! Rock on with your Banjo, too! We've been talking about getting some CDs printed soon, just getting the funds together. Records are apparently pretty expensive to print... which, I expected to a certain extent, but wow! Small runs are insanely pricey. So probably won't print those anytime too soon. Good luck on banjo, its a killer instrument!

Any plans of a physical release? Wouldn't mind having a blood red clear vinyl of this! 😜
