Ayyy born and raised.. off of 100 and excelsior blvd south west corner my parents and grand father still live in the same house since I my grandfather got it wayyyyyy back in the day (also my grandma worked at bunny's for decades... the OG Belgium waffles were the best when I was a kid)
1970 Park High graduate. My sister still lives on the west side of SLP. I went to visit her a few years ago. The place has gone down hill if you ask me.
@@movingtominnesota a lot of private homes have been torn down and replaced by businesses (Cedar Lake Road to 394/Hwy 12 and Hwy 100 to Aquila). It used to have a small town feel that I found lacking when I was there. Excelsior Blvd and Hwy 7 are also built up but there doesn’t seem to be a cohesive plan. The Lutheran church I was baptized in is now a Thai temple. Check out Alabama Ave north of 27th St. Completely filled. The old fields and woods are gone. We used to hunt pheasants there. Only plus for me was the old creosote plant is gone.
I'm on my way currently from Texas to NW Minnesota. The snow storm today has delayed me in Nebraska. But can't wait to get there. I'm looking for small town, country living. It's going to be a struggle finding a home up there because there aren't many.

Bros in love with my city 😭 but thanks for the love 🙏🏾
A few years back whenever we wanted to "go out" we would go to the west end area and avoid the craziness of downtown lol.
I love West End

It will be a struggle depending on who you have helping you. 😉. You should send me an email at Brandonarchie@kw.com
It's not a country town about 50,000+ so I wouldn't call that country plus mpls and other bigger suburbs around it it's more of a city's feel to it
