Great video, I was curious about his machine as it's much cheaper than Titan's option which looks like they're probably produced by the same factory. Thanks for the review, I'll use your affiliate link when I order mine!
Nice review. You mentioned the uprights are a little thin. They are made out of 14 gauge steel which most budget home gym equipment are made and are perfectly fine for home use. Enjoy the product buddy.
Thanks I got one of these used for my brother and am thinking about getting it from him Is the pulley ratio 2:1? I'm assuming so and you can get 1:1 if you use a joiner bar?
@@MyHomeGym_ thanks have you hooked up the two side pulleys to see if they work as 2:1 when joined? That's how Bells of steel works I imagine this is the same. Thinking about that too hook up to a belt squat, run a cable down from the joiner
My 45lbs Olympic bumper plates fit just fine on it. I don’t see any concerns with placing it on a thick rubber mat (stall mat) on a wooden floor. The weight capacity indicates 350lbs. Hope this helps!
Hi! I love the Inspire Ft 1 and weight stacks on each side for each cable. It would have been better to take that and the Inspire devices are available in various. You have a nice channel, are you going to quit the Total Gym? Good luck dude! 🎉
Hey John thanks for the feedback and I’ll look into the Inspire Ft1. As for the Total Gym, it will always be my Go-To workout equipment! More videos to come. 👍
Syedee support email is unresponsive if you order an item that is missing a part. No real point of contact. I like the machine but support capital BAD in bold......
Man I’m not sure to plate loaded. Can you put enough weight on there for tricep push downs and such or is it hard to get weight up to the level that adjustable machines in big commercial gyms use?
@@mariopendragon5373 sorry about that, I misunderstood the question and thought the questing was referencing a different type of equipment. For the Cable Crossover machine, it’s designed to hold center gravity - also by adding weight to the pulley it will keep the rack from tinting over as well. Otherwise, you can anchor it to the ground located behind the pulley weights.
I just got this machine but how did u run the cable thru tiny holes on the back and bottom my cable has 2 big balls on each end to prevent it from fitting thru tiny spaces
I can’t the cable thru the on the metal base. I wish u would’ve done the video showing the cable installation bc I have 3 different cables so it would’ve been nice to see
The cable that has 2 small rubber balls are for the individual handles. The manual references the installation points of each 3 cables. If this doesn’t help shoot me an email with your contact info - id be happy to walk you through it. Myhomegymreview@gmail.com
I’m curious how this will turn out, I haven’t worked much with customer support. Just mostly the market analyst. Pls let me know how it turns out. Thanks
Hello. I just got this on Amazon Canada. Took 2 days to install.. I'd say 8 hours for me as I was alone. I went really slow on the cable installation part, i definitely did everything right and checked back to your video and my cables look to be installed correctly. I tightened all the bolts well towards the end. The cables are so stiff on the concentric and have absolutely no tension on the negative. Not smooth at all. I applied grease to every single pulley and every cable as much as I could, still not smooth. I increased the weight to see if that would apply more tension on the negative, helped very slightly but the movement is not smooth at all. Please comment. Thanks. I have contacted customer support. @syedeefitness
Mine is all shitty too. I just completed it .. the pull down and row cable works pretty well but those side ones are so bad... I don't understand how come mine is moving around so much when I use the side cables where his doesn't seem to move at all... Unless he's weighing down the machine outside the shot Anyways... Uhh . What are we gonna do?
There are a couple of options if the rack is moving around when in use. 1) add weight plates on the weight storage pins located on the center of the rack 2) anchor the rack to the ground (located behind the pulley weight pegs. Hope this helps
@@MyHomeGym_ yes you are correct, i fixed this issue on certain pulleys that were noisy and had to adjust the width of the brackets (literally yank at the metal part until they are far apart enough so they don't make contact with the nylon pulley). The manual says you'll need grease but does not specify where to apply it or how often...i understand it is a bit of common sense.
Dude one of the best videos I have watched on youtube. Informative without useless comments. Thanks. I am buying because of this video.
Wow - thank you for the feedback! 💯

Nice video! Quick question: did the company provide the equipment for you to review or did you have to buy it at retail price?
Hey William, thanks! Yes, the company sent the product in exchange for an honest review.

Do 45lbs Olympic plates fit and would this be OK on a wooden floor with rubber mats and about 400lbs of weight?

On the pully's are they a smooth glide with cable?
Considering that this is a budget friendly piece of equipment, the pulley system was smooth.
Did you try chest cross pulley?
Yes, and it worked as designed. Smooth. I should have added it to the video. Hope this helps!
Man I’m not sure to plate loaded. Can you put enough weight on there for tricep push downs and such or is it hard to get weight up to the level that adjustable machines in big commercial gyms use?
Absolutely, 45lb plates should suffice for Tricep Pulldowns.
@@MyHomeGym_ my debate is between this one and the titans v3 towers.
@@MyHomeGym_ the one I had in mind was the GMWD brand. I’m assuming they are similar.
At first glance, it looks like the V3 is more compact and less space needed. Ultimately, it might come down to what your needs are.
@@MyHomeGym_ honestly what could stand the most weight loaded on it.
How do you keep the machine from tilting without anchoring to the floor?
The legs lay flat on the floor - the legs are connected to the arms which are anchored to the wall. Hope this helps.

There is only 1 cable that is fitted to make its way through the metal base.
@@MyHomeGym_ thanks! 🙏
Is it wide enough for good crossovers???
I should have added that to the video. Short answer is yes. I am able to lean forward and perform the crossover exercise.
How long is the cable? Is there only one cable? The reason I ask is because it seems that one cable is used and it must be 50 ft long
It is a total of 3 separate cables.
Can u have 2 people using either side at the same time?
Good question. Each pulley on the machine is attached to 1 weight system. It is designed for single use. Hope this helps.
How's this machine holding up if you don't mind me asking
It’s solid, no issues to report.
