Photoshop Express vs Lightroom - Which One is for You?

As a photographer myself, who has experience with Lightroom and Photoshop, I disagree with a lot of what was said in the video. Lightroom has a steeper learning curve than what was told in the video and is universally used by most, if not, all photographers weather it be mobile or not. Lightroom is aimed specifically towards photography and almost all well known professional photographers use Lightroom (with the exception of very few astrophotographers.) Express gives less control to a photographer over a photo whereas Lightroom offers essentials to a photographer such as white balance, exposure, curves, selective edits and a histogram. Lightroom mobile also has another very important feature, being able import photos into Photoshop. This is where you would start using the same features that Express offers plus more advanced features. Lightroom exceeds in editing capabilities compared to Express in nearly all categories, even in the free version and especially when you shoot in raw. In my opinion, the video fails to give a strong stance on which app is better which I believe that Lightroom is on top, no matter if you're an Instagrammer trying to spice up your photos or a professional photographer. In other words, forget Express and just use Lightroom

I beg to differ, Photoshop express does have adjustments to white balance and exposure. What it does not have is selective edits. I think express is better in all regards except for the lack of selective edits. You can also edit raw files and all features are available unlike lightroom mobile where even the selective edits you mentioned are only in paid version. GREAT VIDEO COMPARISON MAD KHEM.

@@NoobTube876 Photoshop Express gives more filters and creates collages whereas Photoshop Lightroom is better in increasing photographic quality, cuz that's it's only purpose. It maybe more expensive but it's better than Photoshop Express

I use both, in free version both completing each other, in lightroom free healing feature is disabled, so i use express
