Maybe you could write a few words about the difference in sound? In the video you can hear that the Missions are darker and heavier.
I like the warm sound of Mission.
Nice speakers and my vote go to the Mission but they need that bit more space to sound right. Get a Spendor instead.

Mission sounded much closer to source on my Elac Reference speakers. Q were very bright, hollow sounding. But source was much better sounding than either speakers compared. Dont know prices, just reporting what I heard. Hard to beat Elac Reference... Thanks for the video.
@peterbaugh51 - exactly what I hear, the Q sound hollow! Source beats both speakers hands down.
As i can hear Q are suitable for young people and Mission is better for older. Sound of Q seems to be more bright. Q win.

Interesting, the Q's have spades of clarity, details and space, but lack body/weight (may need a sub to level out). The Missions do provide more weight, but at the cost of clarity and a somewhat recessed midrange/top. 'As is' I give the edge to the Missions for a more natural sound. Not going to trade in my Lintons ;)
I've just ordered a pair of 5040's for evaluating, next to my Lintons:) I'm very eager to find out what they'll sound like in my room...
i had Klipsch rp6000f before the Lintons, and loved them, but they were a bit too much for the neighbours:) And for myself at times too.

@@34332 I expect them in a few days. Wednesday, thursday... I'll keep you posted. I'll be driving them with the Audiophonics HPA-S400ET (Purify-based) stereo power amp.

Lol, Audiophonics is my main supplier 👍 I'm eying the Nilai HPA S300 (good score on Alpha Audio), but very much in doubt about the Purify one. If you feel like it, how's your experience with the HPA-400?
@@34332 Effortless clarity, power and punch. I use it with a topping d70 pro as preamp (USB, CD-transport and some Bluetooth). Have had it for three months now. Sold my Yamaha AS1100 (slight regret there though). I never before had an amp that was so consistently fun with the wide variety of source materials I tend to throw at its inputs...

Have no idea what they did with the Mission Mkii but the original series is way better imho . I still have the baby qx1 great speakers .

@@ehtaabbundhoo384 Yes, but I would go with a Rel, very musical rather than just slam . A good integrated sub is invisible .

Да да эти колонки для меня даже были лучше чем всеми хвалебными Кливер или Корвет АС 150 возможно только Электроника 10 АС 060 были наилучшие Я их не сравнивал с Эстонии. Были у меня 2 пары 35 АС 021 продал скорее всего по глупости был пацаном 21 год. Сейчас мне 45 и очень жалею что продал. Хотя продал одному Аудиофилу и одному корешу. Так я потом к этому Корешу периодически приходил и слушал их конечно он был оооооочень доволен качеством звучания. Тем более что обе пары были ещё и модифицированные мною.

Irrespective of sound, these items have to fit in your lounge like furniture and Q acoustics continue to make little effort in that respect because their products look continually cheaply finished, no attempts to soften their stark appearances
That is subjective. Q’s look classy in my mind and would fit my room. Missions look modern, would look great in a minimalist surrounding. Many think KEF look good. I think they are ugly. Many think Klipsch heritage look old and dull. I think they are stunning. Subjectivity
