Wether he meant communication or not it was end result they were faster. But yeah if you can ride well then as long as you arnt on straight shots you should be able to keep up. Only place he can’t keep up is open highway

Try racing a professional on a 1000cc with your small bike. At the end of the day, its not really about the bike. It's about the rider.

@@creamythroat in my opinion is not a begginer bike cause it reach around 200 km/h at sea level. Is not just a matter of cc in my opinion. A begginer bike, can be a 125-150 cc bike for example
This how I feel riding around the city on my 400 LOL. It's so much fun as a new rider to be able to bang all the gears while having fun, learning how to ride, and not getting arrested. Great ride~~!!
Haha i bought a little bike kinda like a grom almost it was 150cc 5 speed but i bored it its 223cc now and goes about 100mph it feels insane

Found an engine builder who offers a "superbike" package for the Ninja 400. Bumps displacement to 422cc. Full custom head work, compression, rods, pistons. 69 horsepower at the wheel. Can you imagine on that featherweight?
I'd love to have my z400 run that package! It'd finally feel "right" 😊

@@pratmak You're not going to be 50 pounds off, like the 400-450cc class, and there's no amount of power that will make a bike feel light.
They also sell carbon fiber fairings for the ninja 400 that brings it down to 330. So imagine a bike that weighs 330 pounds and has 75 hp.
It never gets old watching a good rider vs a good bike.
Always put the slower bikes up front it allows the group to stay together.

A good example of why after around 4 decades of riding & owning everything from GSXR1100s, CBR900s,(dating myself) liter bikes, a Busa, and a H2 I now run smaller bikes.
Yeah, the stacks are great on the straights but the small bikes are a blast in the twisties.
We all know that an experienced rider on a small bike will destroy inexperienced rider on a bigger bike especially in the twisties but in a straight line the bigger bike will always be faster because of the extra horsepower and torque but I really enjoyed your video.

@@zx10dev87 Because they think money can buy skills, and are super insecure people all around. They know they can't ride as well so think belittling the smaller, cheaper bikes makes up for it. Any actual rider knows the merits of both systems, which is why most real riders often work up to having both in their stable of bikes. Ninja 400 is one of the finest bikes you'll see for city riding and canyon carving - Period!

I can confirm than handling of the ninja 400 is pure madness. When I lean into a corner it's like falling over the bike is so light. And amazing countersteer.

Great riding man. I love my 400, over 5k miles on it since last year new in '23. I considered going bigger like an inline 4 or an r7/gsx8r but idk, the 400 is just too much fun and always brings a smile to my face. I only weight about 140 so even tesla's and twin turbos are finding me a challenge from red light to red light for giggles. Sub 100 mph is where its at for me now at my age and 120 on the freeway once was enough for me to know my brain stops working past that speed. I use to run my cbr 600's 155+ back in the day pretty often but somehow I made it through the squid years. Ya, twins are just plain fun.

Just got approved for a 2021 ninja 400. Super exited. First time on a bike that's not a dirtbike. Very VERY excited lol
It’s fun and cheap too, not nearly as much torque as a dirt bike tho. Ecu flash, and heavy duty clutch plates are a must

Honestly most guys I've met who buy a 400 that rode dirt bikes ends up selling within a few months to get a 600.
Unless you're like me who started on a an r1. Obviously don't recommend 🙄 lol

Thanks for all the info and tips you guys/girls. But no I'm not the kind of guy who feels the need to upgrade. If I like the bike than I like the bike. Hell I drive a 97 camaro rs. And I'm perfectly content with a smaller motor and just cruising with the t tops off with my subwoofers going.. Plus I'm broke asf and want the cheapest insurance for the bike. I live in upstate NY with alot of mountains so I just want a small little bike I can go through the twisties and enjoy the beautiful view. Halling ass isn't really something I'm into. I bruise like a peach hahaha if I go down I'm most certainly getting fucked up 🤣 wife an kids won't appreciate that very much. Coming from a crf250x to a ninja 400 is gonna be just fine. I'm jumping on my bike in about 10 minutes. Going to be about 80 for most of the day. Going up to shaver lake. You guys would love 168 to the 4 lanes. Tollhouse is cool too. A little slower though. More turns and their much sharper until you get past Sierra elementary.
when I went to Canton,Ohio in 2019.. I took my little kawi 250r and lets say the bigger bikes had big smiles till we hit the twisties... wasn't smiling so much 6hrs later after I passed a liter coming out of a turn (ofc he took it back after we straightened up).. it was a blast and that little thing loved going thru the turns.. went back this year (2021) on my 2000 Kawi zx6r... Kinda of missed how agile the little thing was...

I've seen a mini from the 70s beat a F40 at a hill climb. Didn't mean the mini was anywhere near as good as the Ferrari. I've owned a Rc390 and nearly stayed with a gsxr600. The guy couldn't ride. If I'd been on the 600 as well I'd have left him for dead.
Why do smaller cc bikes go aggressive in corners. I mean 1000cc motorcycle could blow those
Much lighter with better balanced centre of gravity with still enough power to punch the speed on bends. I've watched the Ninja 400 on track and can pass the litre bikes. Obvisouly get blown away on long straights though.
I don't see either you or wristy doing MaxPasses on exotic cars or other motorcycles anymore.
Kinda sucks because I used to always tell ppl about you guys .
