- I spent years wearing Ruroc helmets, and now, with the announcement of a new model line, i thought i would Tell my side of the story... Time to tell the truth about what i think about the company and what i think about the helmet.

I have a Atlas 3.0 and I felt it was overpriced but it is a solid helmet. Besides the price, the visors quality sucks though. Not even a 6 inch drop and the visor cracked SMH. I usually wear it when I ride my Harley and its one of the most comfortable helmets I ever owned.
I loved the 3 as far as shape, the insides of 4 are top notch. The rest of it does not add up to $600 for sure lol

Spelled like EOX and pronounced like EOS according to Ruroc. 🤷 I WISH Ruroc would launch a modular version. That is all. I have the Carbon Nebula 4.0 and love it!
spelled like EOX, pronounced like EOS, and apparently looks like atlas 4.5. kind of disappointed to be honest. lol
@@YankiRides I wish they had stayed with the same faceshield design so the 4.0 shield could be used with the EOX. I bought a photochromatic faceshield for my Carbon Nebula and I love it! But now I will not simply toss the 4.0 aside for an EOX for no reason other than to continue using the faceshield.
@@TobyNorthEN yea, it seem like the EOS was an answer for a question nobody asked for honestly. a shame its not compatiblle with atlas accessories

I haven't had any problems with my 4.0 yet. Bought it shortly after launch, and the main reason I wear my Arai Corsair is for air flow in hot humid weather. The Atlas doesn't flow quite enough to me.
The company has made enough controversy that it'll be hard for people to get past that. Maybe with time if they put the right foot forward.
A lot of people used to call Scorpion helmets crap too. Now they get praised for some of their stuff. The optics over the years can change a lot.
agree. i think they did the right thing by scaling back on the hype train. really helps to rebuild faith if they focus less on advertising through "influencers" and more time refining the product.
I do remember when scorpion was "crap" but I swear by my scorpions!
I wouldn't mind trying a Ruroc dual sport helmet out, but if they aren't anywhere close to Klim on the weight then there's no reason to even test it. Unless the helmet was Schuberth levels of quiet..
Yea, they need to be sure if they are coming to the adv market they need to do at least one thing better than the competition. If they focus on too many checkmarks, they are likely to fall short.
@@YankiRides agree.. If they could get close to the weight, but have a quieter helmet but at their current price point.. then they might get some attention
I just ordered an EOX. I am coming from an RF-SR, that Ive had now for 6 years.
I am only a little disappointed that the went with another street helmet. Was really hoping for a dual sport from them
some solid thoughts. I'm still not interested in them, but its nice to hear another channel speak well about them.
to each their own. i have never had a problem with people not liking them.. its when they parrot the "iTs NoT SaFe" bs that I get miffed.
my biggest issue was with their tone-deaf marketing and outsourcing of the parts, and it seems they fixed those issues.
@@YankiRidesnot because of what it is, just that i'm cheap and usually go HJC or Scorpion. the AT350 is my most expensive helmet.

I really wanted to get one in the beginning, but im gkad thst it was out of my price range. I do think that over all the 1.0 and their marketing campaign at the time keft a pretty sour taste on a large number of riders.
Buuuut based on everything I've seen, the new models actually deliver on what they promise.
Not sure if this will be part of what they are releasing but i can feel it in my bones that there is an integration with cardo coming. At least that seems to be the natural order of things based on the 509 helmet coming out and the fact that they seem to be pushing their shockwave on every sale they have been releasing.
Yea they did discontinue it.
I hope for their sake it’s someone cooler than just a cardo integration lol.
Though in the same breath, the shockwave has been a hot pile of garbage, so at least it would finally be good?
@@YankiRides their "big announcement" may be something different than the cardio integration, but if that's not on the pipeline then they're definitely messing up

These helmets really look like a child's helmet. Sorry for the judgement but it's to put in the same category as the bunny ears and any funny looking decoration on a helmet. "Adult-child" things. It's giving "I am 40 years old, I love Marvel movies and I collect funko pops" vibes.
looks are subjective. like i said in the video, i understand the looks arent for everyone, but i dig most of them.

Dude people are literally showing the helmets falling apart , are you ok? Yeah lets spend Shoei and Arai money to have the foam come apart. Cmon dude!
I haven’t seen that with the 4.0.
What I did see is issues with glue on the 3.0 for non critical parts, but haven’t seen any of that since they brought it in house. Not saying they aren’t, just saying I haven’t seen this issue myself.
