Sick boat, I can't believe the owner still ran the trip , you can normally tell the weather's going to co-operate a 4-5 days ahead , I guess he has deep pockets 😆

seems a bit strange for a boat with 200+ km range at decent speeds to bother driving it across the sand at fraser island - just take the boat over its like 20km?

You normally launch boats from waddy Point which is about 80km up the beach on Fraser to get out on the reefs from waddy. To get out there from Hervey Bay its a easy 100km trip each way. If you're staying up there for week its much more economical launching it from the sand than doing 250km+ trips every day.

250k boat you gotta put up with poop smell while you sleep I’ll take a 70k surtees and and 200series for less than 200

  • @sand_shifter

Mind you 250k boat and 130k 200 … might as well throw out the breaks and start again
