That was probably the GREATEST OPENING of a game, especially for the RIVALRY, the Michigan Marching Band, and the Michigan Wolverines and Spartans. SOMEBODY GOT TAKEN BEHIND THE SHED THAT GAME! Next to the 97 team, that was the NASTIEST Michigan Defense, I ever saw! THEY PUNISHED PEOPLE!
Never tire of watching this.....
Nasty Defensive line! Mean offensive Line!! This is Michigan Football!
I was at this game, end zone seats and the spartan fans were real jerks. Went out later that night in east lansing, took off our Michigan stuff, in Max's a spartan fan recognized me from the crowd and tried to sucker punch me while I was at the urnal taking a piss, he couldn't even do that right.....geez.
Shocker!
Love this channel. The WHistorian puts out A LOT of superb games from the past. Being able to watch these games again is something that I love and appreciate. Never have I ever seen ANY other channels that come close to this channel, TY for putting your time and effort for the Wolverine family to enjoy. Hail to the Victors Go Blue
Hey, that Harbaugh QB looks pretty good. I predict he's got a bright future.

38 years and nothing has changed
This was the last time Michigan State got shutout at home. Michigan's last home shutout loss was in 1967 against (ironically) Michigan State.
Its time to bring this type of football back to Michigan. We need to put the spartans under our feet!
They have definitely accomplished that.
Michigan 🏈 / bo schembecler used to own Michigan state 🏈 & sparty; back pocket of bo schembecler
we had 3 starting o-linemen out with injury...we gained less than 200 yds in the game. we didnt get healthy until the purdue game a month later.
They took Sparty to the woodshed that year.
Hated those Spartan helmets !!!!
Michigan State football, rebuilding since 1945.
Does Mark dantonio want his old job back as Michigan state university head football coach???
@@loydkline🤣😂🤣
State didn't belong on the same field as Michigan for year's!
Good old days;;; Michigan football used to owned Michigan state football;; little brother
What’s weird about this is if you listen to the names, all the really good pros we’re on the Spartans. Rison Ingram and White all had good NFL careers.
Was it because of this game that George Perles decided to allow his players to use steroids?
There is simply no excuse to ever get shutout in a conference rivalry game. Why would Michigan State choose to not score a single point ?
Arrogance
