She pairs extremely well with Blemishine tho that's for sure. Like, her buffs are really tailored to Blem's (relatively) low defense and need for fast attacks.
I find an idea of pairing Wishlash and blemishine with some defensive recovery ops like mudrock, hung, liskarm or crossaint since thanks to blem talent they regenerate their skills thanks to attacking, with wishlash increased Attack speed the should load them even quicker but i don't know if it's significant upgrate
You could take in consideration that she can pair well with Nian allowing other block 2 operators to have full advantage of her talent, or even with pallas who adds +1 block on her S3 to herself or other units, so if you like her and want to invest on her you may take in consideration these All said she really just feels like a support for blemishine but she already works better with mudrock
She's been my assistant ever since I saw that glorious smile. I might not be using her a lot, but she was really helpful in getting the shieldguard mission secret ending.
@@stupidpeoples1 The shieldguard mission? I mostly followed Ecko's or Kyo's strat, just throwing in each an every operator whose buffs affect shieldguards. So, Auntie Whislash, Hoshiguma, Nian, Anjie & Perfumer for health regen. And I used a borrowed Surtr instead of the pusher\puller, because I never managed to figure out the correct timing for them.

It still took me about 15 or more tries, but it worked out in the end :D I don't remember the exact course of action that lead me to beating the stage, but here's some advice. Have Anjie and Perfumer deployed early on, to get most use of that regen while the guards don't take too much damage. (By the way, I don't know if their regen stacks, I just went all out :D). Use Whislash's and Nian's skills when the guards start to take a lot of damage. Nian should be put right under the first or the second guard. Hoshiguma just needs to be in your squad, it's not necessary to deploy her although she can take a punch or two with her skill up. The rest is just disposing of the hordes, Surts works great with her nigh invulnerability during the skill uptime. I think I combined that with Silverash (in Shaw spot facing up), so he could do his job safely while Surtr was getting turned into a hedgehog.
Currently in the process of getting at least one operator per subclass to E2. So since I'm going to build an instructor guard anyway I might as well make it her for that glorious E2 art lol.
Whislash S1's global buff can be really helpful, especially in some Chapter 8 stages. Pallas does indeed seem better as an offensive unit While it probably makes more sense for teams to invest in multi target DPS like Silverdaddy instead, Whislash giving more ASPD and Def can potentially help the team. Buffing has clear results and global buffing is glorious ... And this is before her art and lore lol. It's just that she's good at what she does, even if that role isn't an especially vital one like Eyja's is
She has a very high meme potential when paired with Nian. And that's enough for me to raise her... eventually. -Also Ling's S3 serpents have 3 block just in case you need some bonus stats for them.- Disregard that, checked they have 2 block, just short. However Mon3tr for sure has 3 block I'm leaving conclusions to yall.
as someone who mostly uses defenders whenever possible, whislash is the perfect unit for me even if she's not that powerful in other ways. once i raise up blemishine (and maybe nearl as well), she Will be next on the list so she can support them on the battlefield someday
Sad but true. Maxed everything on her, but the impact is not high enough. This sub-class branch really need some buff, like lower SP cost, to become viable. Although, she's adorable. I like her VA and character design.
Whislash's kit seems to be tailored around working with Blemishine. I always use all 3 Nearls. Blemishine at the front, Whislash behind Blemi and Nearl either next to Blemi or Whis. It's an incredibly solid frontline that can hold nearly anything without a second's need of attention. But it is very niche.
Both of her Base Skills stack when training Guards, giving her a total +55% training speed increase. The weirdness of pairing ATK SPD and DEF buffs is because she was intended to work with Healing Defenders. Especially Blemishine, who charges two of her Skills with every attack. Nearl S1 and Saria S1 both benefit from ATK SPD buffs because they need to stop attacking long enough to throw out a heal, so getting that out of the way lets them get back to attacking sooner.
Well i loved her so much in the story i basically E2'd her immidietly then i realised she doesn't do what i wanted her to and left her in the corner, up until i got Kal'tsit and realised how much she can increse Monster's damage cos of the giant attack speed buff on 3 block units. It's a blast to use them together and see monster just shred trough anything with her
now that we’re getting a new op in cn that increases block count, it also makes all the 2 blocks 3 blocks which means more Whislash gameplay. Just imagine SA getting that high amount of attack speed on his S3, or better yet, thorns
I see her as the defensive version of Swire. I got plenty of other guards, but whishlash is fine to build for numerous content including endgame content she can be used. This video may probably be the meta-opinion, but not for me. cheers
I had her level maxed out and her S2M3 very quickly, and I gotta say, she’s fun to play around with and clear mobs by standing behind defenders, but she’s often either outmatched for damage (standing behind Blaze) or her buffs don’t do enough (not enough 3-Blockers to make her worth it). Fortunately, I always run at least 2-3 3 Block melees, so I gain a lot of benefit from her just being there!
Maybe* technically for short answer - well, Whislash is definitely as flawed as any Instructor Guard would be doomed to be, but she makes Dobermann and Swire look absolutely trash and useless

While whislash can be a bit mediocre for most people, she can be extremely powerful with the right combinations and situations, especially her S1. Imagine this scenario: silverash s3 + Nian block buff + wishlash s1. Pretty much an instant delete button for nearly everything in the game. Or wishlash + Mudrock m3 Hell, even more simply, Mon3ter s3 with wishlash. That massive true dmg + significant increase in attack speed is downright insane. All in all, my opinion is that wishlash is worth building if you’re the type who like to mess around with meme strats, nutty combos or just really like to hear silverash’s schwing schwings Plus cmon, look at that damn smile.

To be fair there are far worse things to build. I would say she is neither a yes or a no. She is kinda more in the middle, like if you dig her then sure go ahead and build her. She offers nothing you would ever need but also she is certainly not bad enough to feel like a waste.

@@hermanwillem7057 How frequently do you use her? Been experimenting with her since I got her. Most 3 block ops have tanking roles that is why she needs passive hp regen talent than aspd talent. Pallas talent is very good because Vulcan and Sideroca focuses on survival while having dps. Used her on IC and she helped my e2 lvl1 Vulcan and Sideroca on surviving. Pretty solid but niche talent.
