Nordegg and Bighorn PLUZ {Off road adventures}

- Part one of the new series. Join me and my daughter on off road adventures wherever we find them. I am on a 2014 KTM 350 XCF-W and she rides her very angry 2008 CRF150r. This video takes place in Alberta along the East side of the rocky mountains.

Great to see video #2 and that your arm is all healed up. My friends like the harder enduro trails and I seem to get drawn into situations out of my comfort level so like you, it is nice to just get out on the 4x4 and ATV trails for a slower scenic ride. For those trails I will keep my 350. Looking forward to seeing #3.

@@danielleppington That's what I'm hearing from several, 'best bike ever' how can I not get one, I only have Honda's in my garage so it would certainly fit in nicely and its cheaper than a WR250F. Is your 250X ever hard to start?
@@DirtRiderLife Not really once you get the feel. Mines been modded up a fair bit with all the CCC stuff so it’s a little crankier. Best money is 100$ for the JD jet kit and it makes it real nice no matter the mods. Mines been bomb proof with us having 300+hrs of racing and riding on it. It’s not the most rocket bike you’ll ever ride but it’s legit fast and the easiest most predictable suspension stock that I’ve ever had. If I could only have 1 bike and I didn’t need it road legal, 250x with no question. Just make sure you get a post 07 one.
Hi Daniel, I'm planning to take my travel trailer and 250X up to Nordegg end of August, your video mentions random camping by the spill way could you provide more detail about access and best spots, are there pit toilets? Are there other camping locations with direct OHV trail access? Could also do with a GPS trail maps, thanks again for your help, hope you're having an awesome summer :)
Gpx files aren’t really needed in Nordegg, lots of maps posted in the trails and available in town. As for the spillway camping, go 23km west of Nordegg and turn south, it’s a few km up a huge gravel road. A few places to camp in there but they’re all good and close to the bighorn riding area. Pit toilets throughout that area. If you get adventurous you can get all the way from there back into town if you take the trail that connects to the forestry trunk road.
