I've been a fan since she appeared on Nashville Star and finished 3rd! I thought at the time she was far better than the two guys who beat her, and songs like this just go to show why I was right. I can't remember which judge said it, but one of them assured Miranda that she would get a record deal and be successful despite not winning the show.

We built a home, raised our children and had many wonderful experiences until that time. People tell me to forget her but I love her more than ever even though she has remarried. Miranda Lambert has a way of bringing unfathomable love, devotion and emotion to her songs.....I feel her pain.

yes and no. This song is written from the perspective of the "other woman" who gets with a married man. The man ends up leaving her for the woman he was with before. So she was both the other woman and the one getting cheated on all at once in a way. Classic case of the tables being turned.
