Been super busy with school lately but I just watched this! Thank you so much for the community you've created, it's truly been special to connect with other LEGO train fans around the world. I'm so excited to see where you go with the 12V system!
That moment of realization of what we may have done at 11:50 to 12:04 is PRICELESS. And when you shouted, "6 MONTHS??" after 12:28 was, yeah. Umm, I don't think I'm gonna be able to watch this without giggling with joy and silliness. Like, I've watched this half a dozen times, and, yeah. I'm thrilled we were able to pull this off.
They really nailed it. They told me there was a lot of discussion about which set to get and they knew I was a fan of freight trains. Given the option I think it's the set I would have chosen
Dont mean this im a rude way, but I was so relieved when you finally said "Thank you" at the very end of the video. Whew!! Anyways, awesome to see the hype behind the commumity. Really enjoy your content, keep on building!! ☺️
I was absolutely lost for words about the whole thing, not something I expected at all. But yes that would have bothered me too if I had completely forgotten 😅. We're a tight group, they all knew what it meant to me but it did need to be said
I had to stop showing gifts after some nasty stuff was sent to me. Very brave to open stuff without checking completely. Unfortunately some people out there think it's funny to to send really nasty stuff. Your lucky this time
I don't have a public PO box or anything. I absolutely trust the members that sent these. I've known all of them for well over a year. With the small size of my channel and very slow growth I honestly don't think trolls will ever be a much of a problem for me. I wouldn't accept anything from someone I didn't know anyway
Also, to answer your question about pronunciation of his name, you were correct. I'll be publishing a video (possibly today - sorry to take so long) about the RCX units, their history, and going into depth for how this all came about. @BatteryPoweredBricks
From me, signed by Steven Canvin. He is the software engineer behind the little yellow brick, and helped with the development of the NXT as well. I met him back in 2017 at Brick Fiesta (now called Brick Rodeo).

Congratulations for a huge milestone (and for building such an awesome community) 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What great gifts 🎁! Congrats on 1 year with Discord!!
It’s probably just as exciting to see your reaction as it is to receive the gifts. Happy anniversary 🎉
Be yourself…….!!
hahaha "That kinda does look like me, i FEEL that sometimes." 😂
What a great way to get started with 12V. That was the introductory set for me as well.

Amazing

Is the signed rcx saying Gears & Bricks?
Oh never mind you were right! That’s pretty neat
There was soooo much to "unpack" in this video 😅. There will definitely be a follow-up, probably a scripted video so I don't miss all the details!
