Hint: Turn the chair upside down first. Spray, then turn right side up and you'll be shocked at how much was missed. I've spray painted / refinished thousands of rattan / wicker items over 30 years.

Not normally a Martha fan, but I love the way this room looks. I got a couple wicker chairs I'm gonna paint fuschia, to put in a room painted sunshine yellow. Fuschia dyed curtains too. I think Martha would approve. ;)

Or you could forget spending $150 and opt for a wicker spray paint which retails for around $6 per can. Use the spray paint like you would normally on the object you intend on coloring. This way cuts the noise and gets a good coverage, better than painting, and makes your furniture look like new!

Riri bebe yes as a matter of fact you can find Rust-Oleum product at Menards for three or four dollars and you can basically get each chair done with less than one can! :)) prime it first!

I would cover my hair with a "shower cap" type cover, especially if it's long hair. I would NEVER spray paint indoors; you'd be surprised how far spray paint mist travels.

Buying the spraying machine for one chair? Crazy. You can rent it for a couple of hours. Costs almost nothing.

This is usual well known Turquoise color...between green and blue...it means Turkish color...not MARTHA color =((((
